100% recommend Purple wellies! I’ve signed up to there roof and driveway subscription treatment plan, first visit complete and wow what a difference, I can’t believe I was even contemplating a new roof as now it’s like new, even did minor repairs and while they was there gave me a free upvc clean on my windows. Great service and company.

We found most of the work to have been done our satisfaction but when Jason came out to give us a quote we asked if this price includes gutter cleaning and he said yes.You will see from attached photos that this was not done, can you tell us why?

A few minor hiccups at the start of the cleaning project (which was a large conservatory) but once the operative arrived and started the work it went well. Colin did an excellent job, very detailed and commited. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The boys did a great job but it was dark when they left and i noticed they didn't do right up to the end of my roof front and back. There's about a foot gap between the end of the cleaning and the guttering. I was expecting the cleaning to be in line with the length of the guttering.

We were very impressed with the service we received from Purple Wellies from our first approach to them to the completion of the job. The cleaning team were outstanding they worked extremely hard and did not cut any corners. We would definitely recommend using them.

Purple Wellies came to clean our very old dirty roof during the summer this year and what a transformation! We are really thrilled with the results. The neighbours couldn't believe the difference and all commented how amazing it looks. Thank you for a great service!

My first review was seven months ago and I wrote my review too quickly.Chris and Dean did attend in March 2023 to clean my roof and they did do a good job.What got me was that a couple of days after the job was completed, they told me that I had six roof tiles which were loose prior to them cleaning my roof. Chris and Dean quoted me £360 to replace the roof tiles. Once I paid them and the tiles were fitted, which I have no proof of! I rang Purple Wellies to ask for a receipt for the tile work they had done and no one knew what j I was talking about.I spoke to the installation manager whom I will not name and he made it out the cleaners are allowed to do this?? I said so your cleaners can tell customers they have roof tiles which are loose and picket the cash and I was told yes. This same manager wasn’t interested in my complaint as it was a con. These cleaners could be saying the same to all the customers and making easy money for their own pocket even though they are employed by Purple Wellies?? I said I want to take these two so called cleaners to small claims as it seemed dodgy to me and the manager said, I will give you their address details so you can. I’ve not heard from him since but I have his text messages as proof.Next time I want my roof cleaned, I’ll use a professional company who don’t allow their employees to make extra cash from customers and pocket it.

A great job done on our roof by Brandon, in difficult wet conditions, very professional and also very friendly. He was here on time left no mess and worked non stop until the job was done, A very helpful and hard working young man

I employed Purple Wellies to clean my roof which was quite badly coated with moss. I have to say straight away that the moss is now cleaned off and the concrete tiled roof looks much better. The two operatives were likeable guys and I have no complaint about them.However, I was told by the salesman that the work would be done using a soft brush technique which which would not damage the tiles in the way that a pressure washer would.Indeed the website says 'Working from the ground we use: Scraping equipment, Biochemicals, Gutter vacuums, Soft Brushes, - All navigated with specially designed light-weight poles.The website also quotes -'we scrape the worst of the debris off the roof, Apply a layer of biochemicals to break down and loosen the remaining mildew, moss and algae, Gently wash the solution (and all the grime) off the roof,.The reality was that all of the work was done standing on the roof - No scraping of debris was done, no biochemicals were applied. The first day they did use soft brush equipment but on subsequent days brought a more powerful machine and Pressure Washed the rest of the roof. I did ask them if this was okay on concrete tiles and also telephoned the companies office to express my concerns and was told by both, that there was nothing to be concerned about. When I said that in spite of their assurance I was not happy about using a pressure washer, I was told again that there was nothing to be concerned about and my concerns ignored. I was not and am still not convinced that using a pressure washer is a good technique especially standing on the tiles with no roof ladders to spread the load. The work was not done in the way that I was told that it would be done when I signed the contract.i have arranged for payment to be made as the roof has been cleaned but have to say that I would not use the service again.

Just had my roof sorted by these guys - went for the soft wash option which I know works over a period of time - I can spread my cost on the subscription service over 12 months - They also cleaned my patio and conservatory roof. Really hardworking guys and very polite.
