Whether you're male or female, 16 or 80, a first-timer or a long-time fitness fanatic, RobskiFitness welcomes all. Teaming up with me, you can expect tailored assessments and programmes to guide you. I've plenty of professional expertise in nutritional guidance, strength and conditioning training, movement health, injury rehab and functional training. Sometimes the daily routine can really throw you off balance and before you realize it, you’ve not been eating healthy and exercising for months, and don’t feel like yourself. By that point, it can be a real challenge to get back into a healthy lifestyle and start feeling like the old version of you. I have the skill to help you and make it easier! As your coach, I will make sure you’re performing all exercises correctly and will keep pushing You! As an older person (more than seventy) and finding that I was less able to do the activities that I enjoyed, a friend and I decided to try out planned exercises with a personal trainer at a gym. We hoped that our joints that needed some “oiling” would benefit and that our strength, balance and fitness would improve. Having never been to a gym or followed a structured programme of training, we were very apprehensive - this was not going to be “our thing”, we thought.Our meeting and assessment with Robert was very reassuring. He asked us about our aims for training and listened carefully, telling us that he could organise a programme for us that would help to improve our mobility and core strength. It was clear that he would plan in our particular physical “foibles” and change the exercises he had thought out for us as necessary, adapting exercises to suit our physical capabilities.We are now on our third ‘round’ of our twice-weekly sessions with Robert and he is always encouraging, but also pushes us to achieve more during the exercise sessions. Planned exercises are modified if too challenging, and Robert supervises us carefully, making sure that we are holding a position correctly during each group of movements. Despite my doubts, my gym sessions are helping and I’m grateful for Robert’s commitment and knowledge in the improvement of my physical well-being.Thank you Robert, for your encouragement and friendliness. You are very patient with us when we forget a sequence and I know we test that a good deal!

I’ve started having training sessions with Robert about two months ago following a recommendation from a friend of mine.I’ve not exercised in a long while and felt quite apprehensive. I shouldn’t have, as I found that Robert has gently helped me with strengthening exercises and weights gradually and I feel great!I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Robert!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I started PT sessions with Rob after being diagnosed with a lower back disc problem, as a result of which I suffered attacks of debilitating pain, meaning I struggled to walk for week at a time. I do a sedentary desk job, meaning I am often static, sitting for long periods during the day.During the initial assessment, he listened to my issues, reviewed my MRI report and designed a structured, bespoke training plan for me, to work on specific areas I need to strengthen. My spine is still vulnerable - but he is mindful of that. He always listens to me when I tell him any exercise is niggling it, and provides an alternative. It is this imagination and flexibility, combined with a passion for physical and mental wellness, which marks him out as a truly excellent trainer. His attention to detail and ensuring good form during exercises is also outstanding.I haven't suffered a back pain attack since we started working together 8 weeks ago, which is testament to how much working with him has improved things. I can't recommend him highly enough! Thank you, Rob!

My friend and I have passed the ‘threescore years and ten’ marker and were keen to do somestructured exercise to strengthen up those body bits that had given up working as well as they oncehad. Also to strengthen and maintain other bits trying to opt out whilst we still need them!Neither of us had ever been inside a gym before nor did we know what to expect from a personaltraining programme. We soon felt reassured that we had come to the right person. At the initialassessment Robert listened carefully, recording what we expected from working with him. Heexplained what he could offer through a structured programme to help us improve overall fitness,recover balance and flexibility, develop our core strength, improve posture and build up strength inthe muscles around our weaker joints.Robert constantly develops our programme and whilst we train together, supervises each of usclosely to build on our progress, pushing us and encouraging us to achieve more each week. He iscareful to consider any physical limitations and flexible in adapting exercises to cater for ourindividual needs. It reassures us.We are now on our 3 rd course of ten twice-weekly sessions and the benefits are obvious to us. Muchto my surprise, as someone who has never been keen on physical exertion, I do look forward to eachtraining session. However tired we feel when we have finished, we both feel proud of our progressand grateful to Robert for his encouragement and expertise.
