Waitrose & Partners Beckenham

Lots of choice of items, everything on my list was in stock and lots of offers so spent less than I was expecting!

This store is a mess, trying to exit is a joke. We have been in a queue for 30 mins. It needs some sort of regulating as drivers are inconsiderate and don't merge. We won't use this store again.

Great store with a few snags. Not a bad selection and good quality. Surprisingly for some, Waitrose are actually cheaper than Lidl for some items but with a much better quality and freshness and better storage and handling. The fresh meat fish and deli counters are always worth a visit. Vegetables at the moment range from good to just ok, but still better than all the other supermarkets. The wine and beer selections are very good with a range to suit what you want to spend and some reasonably priced gems. It has close Disabled parking also .Snags are parking. 90 minutes means quite a quick shop as queue can take time. There is Disabled parking spots by the station that are good for 3 hours and can ask for assistance in the store as required. The Cafe has got more expensive and not such good quality but still clean and friendly staff.If busy get the free coffee at the end of the shop and something from the bakery section and sit by the window. Staff everywhere in sore are very friendly and definitely my favorite store to shop at when I get the opportunity

This waitrose store is very big inside it was a bit a busy when i went in. I didn't wait to long to be served the shelves where full of food in stock. Clean & tidy too. Also the car park is large too.

Quick couple of drinks with an old friend - it was very hot outside in the front (seated area with sun umbrellas) so we sat in the much cooler seating area in the back which was better for us. Service was quick and polite with a nice selection of clientele. Very good for sport as there a numerous TV screens inside plus a larger one outside in the back area. There are some cabin type rooms outside for private drinking which I believe also have TV screens. This pub is not your typical Beckenham pub - less rowdy and more traditional. Nice selection of beers too.

Went to buy a bottle of cava here and got refused on the basis me and my partner (both male, 33 and 38 years old) apparently looked under 25 (beards and all). I showed the manager my ID on my phone but this wasn’t enough so couldn’t make our purchase after standing in the long queue for ages. I suspect this has more to do with homophobia than our skin care routine. Never coming here again.

All seems good - nice Waitrose with a Beckenham vibe. Prices are high, but clientele will pay if presented with quality produce & treated with respect and dignity - a million miles away from the grit of East London - would recommend :)
