1st car and couldn’t be happier. I was so worried that being a bit of a novice to the world of motors I was going to get ripped off. These guys were just amazing, they really made my 1st car shopping experience easy and quite enjoyable even. The staff were so helpful, patient and friendly but most of all the price was unbelievable! still can’t quite believe what a bargain it was. Perfect car from the best staff!!!! will definitely be returning for my next car.

Better avoided. Very polite and professional but dealing with issues is extremely slow and involves significant chasing and hassle. Two repairs later and the issue still occurring and we asked them to take the car back. The whole thing took weeks and weeks to resolve with a very clear sense that they weren't particularly bothered. Go somewhere that cares.*Edit* In their response what Cotswold fails to mention is that the two repairs took ten days and two weeks respectively to carry out and that their small but fair mileage dedication was over £500 on a car which was purchased for £3500. No consideration was taken for money spent on the vehicle (new battery, new brake pads) and no justification for the figure they came up with.More frustrating was the lack of proactivity on their part. They consistently needed chasing and seem to have no joined up thinking in their processes. I even had to remind them that the documentation for the vehicle was still in my possession when they offered funds back and ask how they would like them returned.I'm sure they're fine if your vehicle doesn't experience an issue but don't expect much beyond the minimum if there is a problem.

I used Cotswold Automotive last year when I was looking for a secondhand Audi TT.After looking at a few I saw the one I bought on their website. The car was immaculate with a full service history. They offered a warranty on the car and all communications were extremely professional and prompt. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and when I went to collect the car i was not disappointed.I’ve had the car for nearly two years now and it’s been a complete dream. I’m looking to upgrade soon, and have already contacted them and they have offered to source my next car for me, so I will definitely be using them again.Highly recommend

I brought a mini from this company on Nov 11th, and the lad who helped and guided us was so professional, no pushing or anything, just calm, as I had that day to sort a car out and Cotswold was just great, would definitely buy again from them

Called on a Sunday evening and got a call back the same evening. Appointment booked for next morning. Car there and ready for test drive. No fuss, just easy. All documentation was ready and presented in a company folder. Michael was efficient, polite and made the process uncomplicated. Great experience buying a used car from these guys. They have an amazing selection of vehicles with loads of new cars coming in regularly - I asked them to find me something specific and they found something perfect in under a week. They were really quick to respond to questions and sorted everything out super fast. The car was spotlessly clean and they even delivered it to me! Highly recommend.

Fantastic service from Mike at Cotswold Automotive. We purchased a Nissan Qashqai for my mum who is extremely happy with her purchase. The clean on the vehicle was superb, the whole sale was easy and straightforward will definitely be using them again and will also tell others.

******AVOID THIS COMPANY******My son’s review……On arrival they gave us the keys to test drive a VW Polo with a bold tyre which clearly was illegal and unsafe. They claimed the car had a mechanical check... This was my first car and was learning to drive in it and to be taking my test with this car. The rear breaks also didn't work correctly and upon further inspection before my test the breaks were fitted incorrectly with the wrong parts inside the drums.. Again clearly no one checked this car over before reselling. I have only driven around 1000 miles since the purchase and now the engine shuts off by itself and it has throttle issues as well. Oh and it also had the incorrect spark plugs fitted and the exhaust was blowing... Again, saying this was mechanically checked was a complete lie. Completely overpriced for the condition it was sold to me.Date of experience: 21 July 2023This car had been sold to another one of their customers who requested a refund due to faults. As I understand it, it took Cotswold Automotive more than five months to resolve, after which, they just put it up for sale again.

The most professional and efficient car sales company we have ever dealt with. The whole process was very professional, we bought our car online, first time ever, as we felt very comfortable with the company from their website and feedback and dealing with Mike from the company who always responded instantly and was very professional. We had the car delivered to Bournemouth again very professionally handled. It has been an refreshing experience getting quality service which is a rarity now a days in the UK.

Travel from Kent, 3h away. The car looked great on photos, vivid colours, etc, but it was all scratched, dirty, stank, and had 8000 miles on the clock more than advertised.Not to mention, I've been waiting for my deposit since the 16th of October. Called multiple times, emailed... They said they would call me back or all its done. But clearly, it is not.Very unprofessional company, do not recommend.
