Salford Rum | Salford Rum is inspired by the flavours of the Caribbean rum and spice imports received into Salford Docks during the 1800s, Salford Rum is also a tribute to the dock-workers who were the beating heart of our great city during this era.

The Dirty Old Town Distillery - Salford Rum
My son and I went to the distillery tour and had a fabulous time. The whole afternoon was marvellous. Our hosts were warm, funny and engaging. We loved learning authentic history of Salford Rum along with rum itself.The rums we tasted were quite simply delicious, I have no hesitation in recommending their rum or the tour. Thank you Jamie and Hendo!

Really enjoyed the rum tasting experience at Salford Rum. It was entertaining, interesting and both the rum and cocktails were delicious. Brilliant venue under the arches too, with the trains rumbling overhead.

I discovered Salford Rum during lockdown. I have always enjoyed a rum and coke since my youth. Salford won me over from my first taste. Smooth and delicious either with a full bodied coke or mojito and my current favorite a dark and stormy . In 2020 and 2021 I supplied our loyal customers Christmas Rum packages that brought a smile to the many people during the pandemic. I still love the Salford dark spiced and can’t recommend this product enough- Excellent work chaps

Love this place! Been for a rum tour which was led by James the owner, this was probably about 12 months ago but it’s just brill! Then went again last night for the Dave Draws Doodle workshop. Lovely rum, lovelier bottles, can’t fault them!

I was bought this experience as a gift for my birthday and I really enjoyed it. Wasn’t totally sure what to expect but the guy who hosted was very interesting and engaging, it didn’t feel like we’d been there for 2 hours and I definitely learned a lot about the history of rum. I would recommend this to anyone who likes rum and is interested to hear about the creation and success of a local business

WOW! This is easily the best tasting/tour I’ve experienced - James was a highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, he made the experience more than just rum and bought history and passion to the tour. The rum is fantastic, as where the cocktails and for the cost you definitely get your moneys worth! I’m recommending this experience to anyone who will listen!
