The Red Lion
Great local pub with rotating guest beer on tap. Green King IPA is a fan favorite. Friendly staff and excellent service.

Great local pub, always very well kept real ales - 5 on offer when I visited. You'll never be served a bad pint here. Proper pub in the backstreets of Bromley. A rare breed these days but always popular

Very good pub in a quiet back street not far from Bromley North Station and the town centre. Five cask beers on handpump when I visited. A few tables outside at the front. The friendly locals pub offers a pizza menu and well kept real ales.

Been a while since we visited. And was asked to be quiet. Very strange for a pub maybe a library but not a pub. So we left.Used to be one of my favourites around the area. We used to visit them all but this is now off the list which is unfortunate.

Back in the very early 1970s, I used to live in nearby Palace Road. We called the area The Golden Square, simply because we had The White Horse, The Anglesea Arms, The Freelands Tavern, The Crown and Anchor and The Red Lion...all within a 5 minute walk of each other. It was a truly wonderful time to live in, what was basically a village within a town. A Friday night could be spent visiting all 5 pubs and you knew that each would offer something unique to your evening. It's been many a year since I left the area, but I returned to The Red Lion on Saturday and it was like stepping back to those heady days of the early 1970s. Quite amazingly the present owners have been there for 30 years...which is testament to their business and the pull of this wonderful 'village' pub.Great beers and ales, friendly and welcoming owners and staff... and even the locals no longer bite!!!Highly recommended.

Staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Pizza is worth trying as they are really nice. The drinks are cheaper than other pubs around in Bromley.

Really good backstreet local. Good atmosphere. The food has changed to pizza only. I can't comment on how the pizzas are as I haven't had one.I cannot comment on the pizzas as I don't eat them. However they do seem to be popular.

The Red Lion
Often voted the best kept beer in Bromley. 3 regular ales and 2 guest ales every week .. plenty of outdoor seating and food (including freshly made pizza) served throughout the day.Very friendly and welcomingStill the same, excellent beers, always kept impeccably and a great pub for those well deserved refreshmentsIs there any more to add?Only the fact the Lion has been managed by Chris and Siobhan for 30 years and the reputation they have created is still there...Certainly one of, if not THE best kept and presented ale in the locality
