I had a haircut from Zac , and honestly the best haircut I've ever received. I wasn't sure what I wanted so he showed me options and the end result was to my satisfaction. Will definitely be back.

Zac gave me the most amazing haircut and beard trim today. His skill and professionalism were apparent from the moment I sat down in the chair - a warm and charming welcome followed by expert consultation - and I could not be more pleased with the results. What struck me the most about Zac was how patient and diligent he was in his work - it never felt rushed like it does with some other barbers I’ve visited - so it was also an extremely relaxing and enjoyable experience. I don’t live in Bury St. Edmunds, so Blackbirds is not my local barbers, but it is well worth the journey. I highly recommend the shop - it’s very cool and relaxed - but Zac was the star of the show today.

Visited today on a grey rainy Wednesday autumnal September afternoon for the first time. I was immediately welcomed and invited to sit in a chair by Zac. Zac then professionally asked me how I’d like my hair done and what followed was a fantastic visit. Zac is clearly not only a fantastic barber, but seemingly a fantastic person too and I genuinely enjoyed my time in Zac’s chair. I enjoyed our conversation as much as I enjoy the end result of my haircut. Usually I dread having to visit a hairdresser and have tried to be lazy and attempted to DIY it at home but I will have no hesitation in regularly visiting Zac from now on and I look forward to my next visit. Plus, £17 for a haircut is fantastic value in such comfortable surroundings. Thanks Zac, keep up the great work!

My son and I had our hair cut by Brian on Sunday and he was excellent. I booked the appointment the night before through the website which was extremely convenient since I am haircut procrastinator. Brian is super fun to talk to and skillful at his craft. We will definitely be return clients.

Great guys that give great haircuts. Super chill atmosphere which works for me.For mine it's usually about 17£ and even less if I get the training barber. Certain days allow walk ins and for the days that don't, I'd recommend scheduling an appointment either through their site or by calling ahead. Give them a try if you're in Bury!

I've just moved to Bury St Edmunds and this was the first place that caught my eye based on the reviews and its clear why they're 5 stars! Went for a walk in and only waited 10-15 mins max which is great for a Saturday afternoon! The shop is so clean and has a very fresh look. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly, seem like a great group of folk! I had Shannon who was so lovely and had great charisma, I asked for a mid fade and beard trim/line up and it was fantastic! Such great attention to the smaller details and very skilled in what she does! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great hair cut and a friendly atmosphere!
