I had my foot in a support boot as I’d broken my foot and I’d only been in the shop five minutes when it began to fill up with customers but Mark was so helpful and efficient even under pressure. I really appreciated the help he gave as I had to have paint mixed and help choosing materials.Also carrying paint and materials to the counter. Mark is worth a five star review. Take note Coopers.

The attention to detail and service from Carol & Keith sorting out a new kitchen layout, all the units all the appliances could not be bettered. They arranged for me to see different kitchens & layouts and gave great advice and being a local company you get proper service and know exactly who you are dealing with so any queries are answered. I would recommend them all the time

Me and my wife have just moved into the town and I am local to the area. We went into coopers to have a look round for stuff for the flat. The two older women behind the counter made us feel very unwelcome by talking about us, and making it very obvious that they were and laughing. Obviously thought we were outsiders. I would never return to give my custom to this place. A nice welcome to the town other than this shop.

A few years ago on my lunch break I went into coopers to buy a washing line. They have literally everything you could need. At the same time I was contacted to say my dad had gone in for a liver transplant, I was so frightened and shocked I walked out without paying for the washing line. Embarrassed I sent my husband in a few days later to pay for it, the staff couldn't of been nicer, lovely staff and a great shop! A gem of a bygone era

Jobsworth wouldn’t serve at 10 mins to closing time claiming he wouldn’t be out the door on time if they served me. Should advertise closing time is 3.50 not 4pm.
