Cool Gardens Landscape Associates - CGLA

A complete redesign of our garden was a significant commitment. So we needed to be confident that the people entrusted with the project were as good as their brochure. Cool Gardens delivered on every aspect from initial design through to construction, project management, planting and after care support. It is a daunting prospect to rip up your entire garden but we were impressed by the whole team who approached every challenge with professionalism. We were kept involved throughout the process. We are not gardeners but Ruth and the team listened to what we liked and didn't like and this collaboration resulted in a garden we are very proud of.

I wouldn’t really classify myself as an emotional person, but when Eike showed us the initial designs for the garden I suddenly felt a large lump in my throat. To say we were blown away would be an understatement. I’m a graphic designer by trade, so I think I’m qualified to say that the way they translated a rather woolly brief into a finished design was really quite special. Ten out of ten from me.

The landscape design work Vikki and her team provided has been nothing but exemplary. We gave a complex client brief and Vikki completely understood what we were trying to achieve. It was such a joy to work with CGLA from the concept, through detailed construction plans, to the final planting.Now the garden is complete, our neighbors and every casual passer by make the effort to stop and compliment. We were looking for an outdoor space we could enjoy ourselves and such a degree of external appreciation was unexpected and testament to employing CGLA from the outset.For us its not a question as to whether you should engage with Cool Gardens, is more how you can afford not to. Our outside space is an extension of our inside living space and is joyous. Thank you, Vikki and the team!

Cool Gardens have been really great and I love my garden design! It’s exactly what I envisaged and the design has been cleverly done to draw attention away from the fact that the garden narrows towards the end. It isn’t a big garden but by using a combination of different size plant beds and gravel areas, it now looks bigger! Everyone who sees my garden comments on how lovely it looks! Cool Gardens re-designed our front and back garden, as well as then implementing the designs for us. They were so good throughout the process, really listening to what we wanted, as well as coming with great ideas. They were transparent throughout the process on costs and invoice dates. When it came to implementing the designs, a team from Cool Gardens were with us for three weeks - they were on time, polite, hard-working and very clean on site (including thorough clean up at the end). We would thoroughly recommend Cool Gardens!

Cool Gardens have been excellent in every respect, from their comprehensive design process with electronic and paper designs, to the professionalism and respectfulness of all their staff members I've dealt with. Our garden looks wonderful, the extensive hard landscaping has transformed our outdoor space and all the plants supplied have flourished. In less than six months, the garden looks mature. They are also very quick to deal with any issues which arise, even after finishing the job.Highly recommended.

My experience of using Cool Gardens has been nothing but a truly positive one!!They offered a comprehensive landscape design fully tailored to meet my needs which thoroughly exceeded my expectations.The initial consultation to discuss my desires and objectives to create my ultimate outdoor living space was made easy by the extensive knowledge that Cool Gardens have and their ability to listen to my needs.A 3D to scale drawing package was produced showing the layout of my new garden. Included in this was a full planting design of a low maintenance garden as I am not particularly green fingered demonstrating their attentive approach and that Cool Gardens had actually listened to what my requirements were.As a result of the fast turnaround of my drawings it enabled me to get started on my new garden.An overall fantastic service from start to finish and I cannot recommend Cool Gardens highly enough!!Very happy customer :-)

The Cool Gardens team are absolutely brilliant & we are very pleased with our completed garden. The design process was detailed & Ruth spent a lot of time listening to our requirements and modifying the design to exactly how we wanted it. Cool Gardens helped us to design and install a new bit of garden around a pool.They helped us achieve the look we were aiming for with professionalism and creativity. The planting design was spot-on and helped us achieve the ‘English country garden meets Mediterranean’ feel we were looking for.Vicky and sunny were brilliant work with, dealing with all our queries, changes of mind and grumpy builders.

I am so impressed with Cool Gardens. From their creative design through to the excellent project management and faultless execution, the complete experience was smooth, professional and to very high standards.
