Premier Inn Carlisle Central hotel

As expected from a Premier Inn I guess. The rooms are red hot with no air con! Air con wasn’t working. Bed was a little uncomfortable.Good service and politeness from the staff.

Was a nice clean room. I was disappointed that breakfast was being served until 8am. But was refunded the price back

No problem here. Stayed for a staff do. Room was clean and large. Great value, you'd pay double for the same space in any other chain.

We were at an evening event at the football ground .. bar/restaurant attached and quiet, even though near main road into town.. (none of the P. Inns are in the town centre - half hour walk) but nice comfortable stay..

A well sized room, heating was good. Good comfy bed, there wasn't too much noise from other rooms and the doors closed quietly in the halls. The only real note would be the water pressure being slightly low, but I was on the top floor.

Standard Premier inn on outskirts of Carlisle convenient for our Hadrian's Wall walk stages from Bowness to Birdoswald.We were in the annex on the 1st floor which did not have a lift and the main stairs are a bit narrow to negotiate with suitcases.

I stayed here for one night with my 7 year old boy. The hotel room was as I would expect from a Premier Inn- clean and in good condition. But the staff attitude was excellent! From Brian on reception through to the team in Brewers Fayre in the evening and breakfast their attitude and dealing with my lad was absolutely brilliant. Thank you it was a pleasure to stay with you.

This Premier Inn is very convenient for the M6, and quite near the city centre. When we arrived parking was difficult. We got the last available space - nearby Carlisle United were playing at home and the Premier Inn hires out parking spaces to people attending. We had a Premier Plus room which was conveniently situated on the first floor near the entrance. The room was good but we found it very difficult getting in and out of the shower. As well as the high bath side to climb over there was a long fixed glass screen to squeeze round at the slippery end. The Brewers Fayre restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night. The food was good then and on the following morning for breakfast. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

It's in a handy location for the centre, about a mile. Football stadium just along the road too. Hotel is just what you expect from Premier Inn, clean, well kept and aintained will a brewers fayre bar next door.
