OrthTeam Centre

I visited the Orth Centre today and was seen by Mr Hayton. On arrival everything was Covid compliant and staff were professional, efficient and helpful. My trigger finger was examined and a cortisone injection was advised. This was expertly done by Mr Hayton. I can highly recommend the Orth Centre and would have no hesitation in choosing to have treatment here again in the future.

Every aspect of my experience with the OrthTeam Centre has been outstanding. I am impressed by their speed and efficiency, the communication between consultants, and the pleasantness and support from all the staff.

Wife going for hip replacement. On time, well organised and, most importantly, wife happy.

Really disappointing treatment centre. In my opinion they severely mishandled my case and were negligent. I was told conflicting information. The lady on the phones is ridiculously rude, dismissive and unhelpful. She originally Had me stood at the desks originally for 20 minutes without acknowledging me, when I explained to a manager I got the impression I wasn’t believe as she said that 20 minutes is a long time and that wouldn’t happen.She again was very rude and has been rude on the phone consistently since I made the original complaint. Today even putting the phone down on me, when I explained about how much of a poor service I believed I’d been receiving. She then tried telling me what the doctor had told me even though she wasn’t privy to the conversation.I waited for an appointment with professor peach for a month and was examined for all of 30 seconds, told one course of treatment.I reached out a number to of times afterwards but didn’t hear anything back from the professor. I was told I did actually need the originally course of treatment (surgery) that the 2 other referring specialists had implied.I spoke with them regarding appointments and booking, I was informed that “the system doesn’t always send out confirmation”.I spent a fortune with this place and have had nothing but sub standard treatment and bad customer service from the team!!!Go to another provider and get better treatment!

Great surgery and scan teams but major issues with parking which for a Orth center is poor. I had received treatment for a bad back and couldn't walk too far but was asked to move my car as the Recruitment Business on the top floor own all the spaces near the entrance. 5* if not for the parking issue which are not expected a private hospital.

Awesome hospital and awesome care given

Good hospital for shoulder issues. I was seen and then x-rayed the same morning. After interpretation, treatment was also offered there and then.

Terrible place

I was seen to the minute on time, immediately sent for an X-ray down the corridor, waited about 5 mins for that, sent back to Prof Turner to review results, again no more than 5 min wait. Efficient, excellent. Such a change from the shambles that is the NHS, if only I could get my money back from them and be done with their services altogether!

I recently had a carpal tunnel release done by Mr. Mike Hayton of the Orth Team down at the Manchester Spire Hospital.The effect has been utterly transformational. After 3 weeks I was pretty much back to full activity level taking into account the muscle loss / weakness. The numbness and other uncomfortable symptoms of the carpal tunnel syndrome have gone. Like having a new hand. Excellent!Full mobility and grip with virtually no post operative discomfort at all . A great experience and well worth it.WS Warrington
