Lovely place to visit if you're in the area. I went on a 45 mins boat trip with commentary for most of the time informing us of lots of local information. I will definitely go back if I get another nice day.

Great wee run on the bikes from Stronachlachar to Trossachs pier.A hilly road but no real problems.Great views across loch katrine. Plenty other areas to explore for the more adventurous.Highly recommended cycling jaunt.The facilities at Trossachs pier are very clean and well serviced.Take a boat trip on the loch, I've done it and it is a great way to see the scenery and get to know the area.

Absolutely beautiful place. We walked a few miles along Loch Katrine, saw the lovely steam ship pass by a couple of times. The road surface is perfect for cycling so we will do that next time. Toilets were brand new and clean. Really well maintained place so definitely worth paying the reasonable parking charge.⭐️

Went here with friends for the boat trip to Stronachlachar and back. This is an excellent way to enjoy seeing this place and the commentary is informative and entertaining without being overwhelming. Drinks available on the boat - cover over main deck or warm cabin below - tartan covers provided free if cold and windy - what's not to like?

Brilliant day!! Went for a boat tour with the family and loved it. Weather conditions weren't the best, the Rob Roy went ahead with the tour and made it a lovely experience despite the rain and wind. Skipper allowed the kids to have a shot at steering the boat and honestly they had a blast! Plus gave them some hints and tips about life at sea and to me this was definitively going way above and beyond". If you're in the area please go and support this crew and the wonderful work they do"

A fantastic little area set within the beautiful national park of Loch Lomond And The Trossachs. It has a restaurant, cafe, gift shop,cycle hire, car park and public toilets. However the main attraction is the boat tours. There are two, the Sir Walter Scott and the Lady of the Lake. I went on the Lady and had a most enjoyable journey to Stronachlachar. The staff on the boat were great, being informative, funny and helpful. Infact, all the staff I encountered in the booking office and the restaurant were excellent.

We booked here for 3 days, I know it's basically a car park but with super friendly staff, immaculate toilets, a cafe, sovenier shop, bike hire, boat trips, Callander around 9 miles away all in all we had a super time. Downside, no chemical toilet disposal, no grass pitches. We will revisit.
