Very convenient from old student accommodation. Perfect to go home south, Fiveways/Broad Street, or down to New Street. If I needed to, there was even a stop to get off at Selly Oak. Train fair was very cheap as a first year in Oct '18 - £1.60 each way.Times and services were always pretty reliable. Although I always brought a ticket in advance on the app; gates were often up.Latest train back from the centre was around Midnight.Very convenient to and from the University and QEH

Nice grounds for walking. Clean hospital is not too fast food courts are not too far. Great transport links

Well the station is located in a rather good location, obviously serving the university of Birmingham and the station has lifts to give step free access to the platforms. Also served by Cross country services here too however the installation of ticket barriers here can cause overcrowding to be even more of an issue. I'd dread to travel here during the rush hour.

UoB train station, where does one begin. The architecture, the history, the culture, it truly has it all here. I met a delightful woman on a dating app who has used this station many times over, but not as many times as she has taken my breath away due to her radiant looks. She truly is a gem, and like the trains that travel through here daily, she will always be a piece of me; like the trains are a piece of this station.

Absolutely nowhere to park to pick up or drop off.. Ridiculous with the amount of students travelling from here who need dropping off or picking up

Very conveniently located to the university, however, the small entrance can become exceptionally overcrowded during peak times, to the point where queues form, which can lead to missing your train if you’re not very early.Staff however are all very friendly and helpful.

Simple basic station. Only a disabled toilet facility here, needing Radar key. The station is being rebuilt alongside the existing premises into a much larger facility in July 2021.

The staff here are rude, disrespectful and made me pay double price for my ticket due to a fault on their own machine. The black woman needs to know how to communicate properly with service users. Need to improve your staff as they’re working for the public whilst having no understanding on how to communicate with the public. Early hours in the morning and they seem like they hate their jobs.
