Great tasting food! The fish and chips was crispy, rice and chicken were delicious. One thing strange was the waitress came and asked us how the food was but left right after she finished her sentence and before we gave an answer. I guess it was busy during lunch time with only one waitress, but it felt like it was checking boxes.

Good range of drinks on offer. Kept it simple on the food 3 x fish and chips lovely fresh fish, chips decent enough, although would prefer fresh.No Amex

Food here was really lovely.It was quiet as we visited on Monday night, but we were looked after well and had a great evening. I really like the beer suggestions for each dish and hope to be able to indulge next time I visit.

Great location, good drink selection and atmosphere. Lunch menu is a bit haute for lunch and the service isn't the greatest. Lunch menus should just be simple. The lunch menu is almost a tea menu and the food is fairly average.

Only stopped in for a liquid refreshment, but they offer a huge selection of beers and spirits. We sat outside in the sun then a while in the bar when it got cooler. Definitely worth a visit although it can be extremely busy on a nice day.

I know it's dog friendly but there were a few too many for me that day. Great food. A bit expensive for what it is. Great staff with good knowledge of the products. Good selection of drinks.

Spent a night here on Saturday. I was really disappointed with the room which had no heating , there were other issues that we have raised with the hotel but had no correspondence back from them. The continental breakfast was almost none existing as we had to make do with a morning roll with cheese for breakfast. Not what you expect from a hotel in the North East of Scotland right on the tourist trail . Definitely not worth the money

Great food. So very tasty. Would encourage anyone to visit. Good old fashioned pub on the harbour in the interesting setting of Stonehaven.
