In the month of July we moved house and I stupidly chose this store to floor an entire 3 bedroom house.The first fitting was done fine for the bedrooms however we placed an order for kitchen vinyl that was booked and then delayed .. telling us the day before .Neither less when proceeded to book and pay for other areas of the house to be floored and the manager assured us he managed to book all remaining fittings together for the day before we moved in ( we made them aware of our move/ and dates )My husband took time off work to be there for the fittings and moved everything out of place to find out at 3pm that the fitters that arrived at 10am that morning were only there do the laminate and not the other rooms! Had to spend his time going back to the Hove branch to find out what was happening when in a nut shell the manager hadn’t communicated with any fitter to add on the extra rooms and the kitchen vinyl that was ordered then delayed then promised to be included in this fitting day was actually sold to someone else so they had no product! Joke.The laminate that was fit has been left damaged and unfinished. It’s uneven, it’s chipped and the fitter ( who is meant to be professional) has cut it wrong and left it as it is shown in the photos .Despite alerting the hove branch manager , visiting store, sending a email and photos and leaving a voicemail and him also agreeing it shouldn’t have been left his way …. ZERO response or contact to rectify if despite it not being a major thing to fix and me being polite enough to say I was happy to sort it out rather than go to head office which is where the complaint is now.Ironically he asked me if we could leave feedback with the amount of orders we were placing to help them out as head office check it … well unlike them I like to deliver on any promise I make .Enjoy your earned feedback.To any one considering using them LISTEN to the negative feedback the company has, it’s everywhere ! I didn’t as I have used this store many times over the years previously and assumed it would be fine.There are a lot of other companies out there and tons online so nobody has to accept shoddy service like this store gives .Now waiting for head office to make contact and get them to carry out the finish properly

Dave was completely helpful and charming without being in any way sales-y. He made sure we got exactly what else wanted and needed without hurrying or pressuring us in any way. Thanks Dave!My only comment is that the shop should really have a customer toilet given the amount of time people are likely to spend there!

We had an amazing experience. As first time carpet buyers we didn’t know what to expect. But Dave at Hove made it a stress free trip. Helped get everything we needed for the whole house and didn’t push us to buy things we didn’t want. 10/10 from us!

I was so pleased with the carpets I had fitted in my rental property that I've just ordered some for my own home. Dave is very helpful, efficient and knowledgeable making sure the whole process goes smoothly from start to finish.

The manager and team at Carpetright Hove couldn't have been more helpful when we moved a man with a disbaility who was living in awful emergency accommodation into his forever home. We needed carepet and fitting quickly. The team went above and beyond to enable this to happen. The man who is now happily settled in his new home, is beyond overwhelmed and happy with the quality of the carpet. He has had an awful time over the past year living in horrible conditions through no fault of his own. So this has been an incredible gift. As a charity, we are truly thankful for the support of the manager and the team.

I had to carry a heavy and dirty carpet to trim it accordingly. And I was told by an arrogant boss" that they were not trimming carpets! And almost £150 for a 1

I visited your Carpetright St Joseph's Trading Estate, Old Shoreham Rd, Brighton and Hove, Hove BN3 7ES store and was served by Dave.Dave was able to answer all questions professionally and also upsold us the higher underlay as well. He got the order all correct and when the fitters came, they were given all the correct information as well.Dave was fantastic, and he was a great salesman. Even to the point that he gave the quote on our 1st visit and when we visited him again on the 2nd, he remembered us. I have worked in Customer Service for over 10 years now and love when I see someone treating with a extreme professionalism and high quality service. Thank you Dave.
