The Ale Wagon
Well deserved reputation for providing real ales in a real pub. Excellent

Very good pub not far from Leicester Railway Station. Seven cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I last visited including a black IPA. Quiet after the Spurs game at the King Power.

The Ale Wagon
A classic, firmly on the shabby side of chic, great range of ales, at reasonable prices, bare floorboards, and no frills seating.

The Ale Wagon
A very traditional real ale pub with a excellent selection of hand pulled cask beers and real ciders as well as bottles and more mainstream lagers. One of the only places to still get Hoskins Beers.

Called in for a pre-dinner drink.A good selection of ales and a few ciders on too - it would be all to easy to stay and sample a few.Call on and try it!

The pork scratchings were perfect with my pint of 3Cs. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere convivial. The only pub I visited twice during my stay in Leicester.

Always wanted to try out this old establishment! Had the opportunity was a quiet windy Tuesday nice place kronenburg £5.60 no TV toilets great nice landlady didn't know it closed between 2-4.30 left at 2.40! Was not asked to leave once which was a pleasant gesture considering I was the last person to leave! Amazing place for a quiet drink

The simple fact that they evidently threw someone out for ordering a vodka Redbull is reason enough to come here. Apart from that it's a very traditional pub, with a wide variety of beers, some locally crafted. Made the mistake of ordering one of them, not my particular cup of tea that one, but each to his own. Sat next to a slow burning coal fire, enjoyed the experience.Passing by? Pop in!
