5 day break to Aberdovey. Excellent place to stay

Had an excellent few days between lockdowns in 2020.Immaculate apartment. Clean and quiet. Stunning views.....Glorious beach walks, and beautiful scenery in every direction.Pubs also excellent. would recommend 100%!

Highly recommend this lovely apartment. Perfect location right in the heart of Aberdovey. Aberdovey is one of our favourite places, the beach goes on forever, there a lovely little shops to potter around, gorgeous places to eat, crabbing off the jetty, a playground for the children. We can’t wait to go back.

JENNY MATTHEWS RECOMMENDS SEA VIEW ABERDOVEY DOT COM5 Stars – Highly Recommended.Sally’s flat was a revelation – luxurious to a high standard, with a dream kitchen providing all one would need, comfortable beds, and a beautiful bay window with 2 relaxing chairs in which to sit and watch the goings-on in the RNLI centre, with the expanse of beach beyond, was gorgeous – but we found ourselves nodding off having breathed all the wonderful sea air!I went to Aberdovey with my family when I was 10, so it was a real joy to go again as an adult, and realise the place was still as lovely and had not been spoilt.We ate at 2 seafront restaurants and loved the food, and friendly service. Round the corner in the quaint little streets we found individual shops with a marine flavour, but also Sea Salt and Joules to browse in if we were in a browsing mood. Sorry the review’s so late, it seems a long time ago now! I’d never actually been to Aberdovey before, loved it.There are some great restaurants and pubs nearby, I’m hoping that all these things will open again soon because my experience was great. The place itself is really lovely, super clean too, comfy beds etc. I guess it was the view that did it for me, something about waking up and seeing the sea. The swim was fairly “bracing”:) I was the only taker for that.I’ve been looking forward to getting back there anyway but with the added effects of lockdown it’s almost too painful to think about it now.Looking forward to our return!Thanks,Ben.

We feel so lucky to have found this place and to been able to make such special family memories here. It’s location is just perfect, it manages to sit right the heart of the town and provide a wonderful vantage point to watch people coming and going, yet it’s first floor keeps it secluded and private at the same time and from the bedrooms at the back one could believe they were not in a town at all, as a tall cliff protects the silence for a restful sleep. Overlooking the beach makes the unpredictable Welsh weather a less of a hazard, as one can watch for the perfect weather window to steal an hour on the beach, or even a sea swim, returning to a warm shower or to soak in that fabulous huge bath. If the rain should hold off, which it blissfully did for us, the sandy beach stretches for miles, backed by a wilderness of dunes and grasses perfect for children to race down and explore, and the apartment is close to nip back to and prepare a picnic from, or even a BBQ on the sand. I could go on and on! The children found the jetty a wonderful place for crabbing and the handy picnic chairs were much appreciated by we adults as we rewarded ourselves for supervising with delicious locally made ice creams from the shop a few doors down from the apartment. I strongly recommend this place for a family although please don’t book for the same week as us because we’ll be returning for sure!!!

Perfect apartment for our break in Aberdovey

Such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere in this lovely apartment!We had an amazing time away and can't wait to visit again.On the sea front, this apartment was the best we could have imagined, thank you!
