Need a Ride Transport

Be warned everyone! Do not waste your time here! This guy, Mark, is utterly hopeless and completely unreliable, will mess you around with empty promises and leave you in the lurch just when you don’t need it. Do not be fooled by the keen pricing and quick turnaround times offered. We were moving horses to Spain, and despite repeated phone calls to him, his assurances that everything was fine, it was all booked, don’t worry etc etc, it was always us chasing him, never once gettinga call back when he promised, and never getting anything confirmed in writing. It came to a point only ten days or so before our horses had to leave their Uk livery that we gave up and used a bigger company at greater expense, but at least they got the job done as promised and quite short notice. And we never heard from this Mark ever again. If he didn’t want the job he should have just said, but he never did. Somehow he probably still sleeps at night.

After breaking down on the motorway for over 4 hours waiting for breakdown to come out to us our insurance company sent out mark to pick our horse up and take him home. Mark arrived within 30 minutes from being assigned and was wonderful. He was very quiet with the horse as we had to unload on the motorway in the dark and got him home safely. Highly recommended.

Reliable and treats the horses with respect. Highly recommended!

I have never seen the like... 4 months of being fobbed off, not one email or phone call when both were promised numerous times, this is the worst customer service I have ever seen. If you hear the words I don't have my diary on me" just hang up - you will never get a confirmed pickup date out of the guy... We were told to wait week after week after week... We may have lost option to buy the horse in question due to this deeply unprofessional behaviour!"

Mark is a brilliant transporter, he tends to the horses in a very caring way. He’s patient when the horse is difficult to load and also puts the horse above the client which is lovely when it’s an animal that you love and want looked after. This man has untold knowledge about the equine world and he is definitely money well spent. He is from generations of horse transporters and he literally takes horses all over the place even over to Europe. If you want your horse/horses looked after and taken where they need to go then seriously use “need a ride horse transport”, he’s the only transported I would chose to use!

Wouldn't even give these people 1 star utterly unprofessional. Left us completely in the lurch and impossible to get hold of. Mark continually lied to us about when he would be available to pick our youngster up. Mark gave us a load of stress we could have done without. AVOID USING AT ALL COSTS.

Mark came out to us a breakdown rescue and arrived quicker than expected. He was friendly and professional and the horses were happy to load for him. My daughter travelled in the box with Mark and really enjoyed their conversation. Luxury lorry and the horses were spoilt with heating and not sure they’ll want to travel in their normal box again!
