Bone Idol Academy

I done a one day groom your own dog day to learn how to groom my show cocker spaniel. I like a 'pet version' of the show standard. Helen was great teaching me techniques and showing me the ropes as a total newbie. Helen and the team were so welcoming and giving me advise on how to start grooming etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my day.

We have been taking Lola, our Miniature Schnauzer to Bone Idol for years. They are brilliant. Super friendly, great with lola and do a banging haircut. wouldn't take her anywhere else (we have on occasion, we always go back). Best groomers in town. Thanks so much for making her look cool!

I came to do a 1-1 training day with Helen as I wanted to learn more about Asian fusion grooming. Helen is an amazing tutor, so patient and has a great way of making you understand things. I learnt so much in just one day and highly recommend the academy, everyone working there is really knowledgeable and kind.

Helen and her team at Bone Idol Academy have been grooming my dogs for years, first in Kemp Town and now in Hove.They are fantastic- professional but also super helpful and the dogs love them. I have no hesitation in leaving my dogs in their safe hands and wouldn't go anywhere else for grooming.

I recently spent the day with Helen at the Bone idol academy in Hove. Helen was beyond talented, an amazing teacher and above all so easy to get along with. Nothing felt too much trouble and I felt at ease as soon as I met her. The shop itself was brilliant , lots of space and top quality equipment.I learned a lot during the day, but since then Helen has been amazing at giving me continued support and advice when I’ve reached out to her.I would love to go back and spend more time learning from her wealth of knowledge, would recommend to anyone. This was a first visit to a groomer for Tommy our Norwich Terrier who is 6 months old. He has to be hand stripped. Helen explained the process very clearly. He was happy to be there. I felt completely comfortable with Helen. Tommy looked beautiful afterwards. I will definitely go back to Bone Idol and recommend it to others.
