Best place to shop in Braintree, I love the world foods section and the bakery. I find many of the products here to be cheaper than Tesco which is nearby. The icing on the cake is Argos, who doesn't love Argos?

Good selection of everything you may need home delivery and click and collect are also 2 great options if you don't want go go in store and after a quick shop

I have just moved into the area. I have been shopping at Sainsbury’s Braintree today second time (we went back here because of the convenient prices with the Nectar card)and buy things for approximately three weeks . The manager stopped us ,me and my husband to ask us “what are you doing with so much pork meat ?” I responded is for almost one month as we go shopping once a month. His answer was to make sure that we do not sell it ! I said that of course not ! Because there was also other people around I felt humiliated. After we left him and continued to buy things that we needed he was showing us to other customers and to store staff also. I felt very uncomfortable and humiliated! I am wondering if he is asking every customer why he buys so many products or it was just us ? I want to mention that in my cart it was also 6 bags of potatoes , onion , bell peppers, 6 litres of oil , 2 bottles of body wash ,shampoo, 83 washes of fabric softener , kitchen towel and so on …The manager’s behaviour was ridiculous and for that reason I will leave this comment and give one star .

Often shop here as I like sainsbury but there are no bags provided for fresh produce unless you pay for the net ones. The parking is limited if you want to shop in Braintree as well make sure you don't go over 2 1/2 hours or you will get an £85 parking ticket! As I did!

Looking at the style of store appears to be from early to mid 80's . Only got a few things from the store but appeared to stock a reasonable amount of goods . Toilets were clean and tidy.

chop chop order never came and no cancellation or update terrible services they may as well not bother with this same day delivery service

Just returned from shopping at Sainsbury's, Braintree.i say shopping except you can never get what you go in for.the shelves have lots of empty gaps. I've missed out yet again on hundreds of points and money off offers on my Sainsburys app.this store is going downhill fast needs new management or a kick up the backside.

Clean and tidy and staff are friendly, I am a little disappointed that this store does not do the scan and go feature. Need clearer signage to Argos section also, as this is the far end of the store.

Clean grocery store. Friendly staff. Lots of product to but at reasonable prices. I will definitely go back.
