Shearbridge Veterinary Centre, Queensbury

Shearbridge have been brilliant with our dog on the numerous times we've had to visit. They have always been super helpful and friendly. They make our dog feel safe and looked after, and on each visit have given a clear and considered diagnosis. Would definitely recommend - even if vet bills (not just shearbridge) cost a fortune - the health of our dog is worth it!

My dog has been going to Shearbridge for over 10 years and although its expensive, I have always thought it was a good vets...My dog is on long term medication and in the last year we have spent thousands on his treatment, we have always paid promptly and we assumed we were valued customers. However today after requesting a repeat prescription, I have been left feeling incredibly upset. This has resulted in me having to register with a different vets. What started as a minor issue, due to a staff member being, what I though was unnecessarily abrupt over a policy of immediate payment, for any repeat prescriptions, has turned into the staff closing ranks, my complaint being completely dismissed and devalued, followed by the suggestion that I use a different vets as a resolve. No apology and no attempt at retention or customer care. Disappointing at best.

This surgery has looked after our dogs, cats and guinea pigs for the last 40 years. In latter years we have only had dogs and every vet without exception has been exceptionally great at looking after them. Our dogs seem prone to eating the wrong things and we have on two occasions arrived after hours, the dogs have been looked after and sent to over night care, well they were equally well looked after. I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best, professional in their knowledge and treatment, caring and and communicative with the clients, canine or human!

A truly lovely practice!Absolutely everyone provides a top quality service, with professionalism, gentleness and humour.As the owner of an ageing springer; I have been given so much support both with regard reducing his weight and managing his lumps, cataracts and arthritis. Importantly for me, I have always been given all the options available; rather than just offered medicine or surgical intervention.A fabulous service all round.

Very pleasant, helpful reception staff. The waiting room is comfortable and has lots of information displayed. The vet was well informed and treatment was quickly and carefully done. My cat was calm throughout.

My Dogs have been registered with Shearbridge veterinary centre for some years now. I want to recommend the practice as they have provided me/us with excellent care and service through good times and bad.My dogs are advancing in years now and I have been able to rely on the support of the team at Shearbridge at every stage, through bumps, bruises, vaccinations tummy upset, infections, routine operations and diet advice.In their advancing years they are supporting one of my dogs (who has life limiting cancer) with honest, kind and practical compassion. My other dog has recently had an ear infection that significantly affected her mobility and eyesight. The detailed, clear diagnosis, explanations, treatment and discussion of the infection ensured I understood her condition, was able to carry out her care at home and knew any additional support needed was only a phone call away.I cannot recommend the service (of the whole team) given to pet and owner highly enough.The practice cannot guarantee good news or the outcome of a visit. But they can, and do, give the best care and service to your pets and that is 100% what you want from a veterinary practice.

We have used this veterinary practice since the 70's ! We have had many pets over the years but their service has never changed! Always professional, accommodating, and friendly. When the awful day arrives when you have to lose a dear pet they are the best. I wouldn't use anyone else.
