Drove from Nottingham with my granddaughters for a Western lesson and trail ride. We were not disappointed. A very well organised and welcoming establishment.

My partner and I went for a western riding lesson. I can ride and it was my partners first time. Sara, our lovely instructor, accommodated both of our capabilities including taking us for a ride around the farm. The horses were clearly well looked after and cared for and everyone we met was professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.

It was excellent, we recieved a warm welcome and although we didn't use them we were shown where the facilities were and they were extremely clean (Albeit they were unisex, which maybe a problem to some). The camping site was well cut and individual pitches were spacious and clearly defined. Almost forgot, the on site coffee shop was much more than we expected, service very friendly and efficient and the homemade cakes delicious. Would definitely visit again.

Cafe is lovely, food good etc. Parking if you are disabled is an issue!!! Car park for visitors is rough & uneven. So beware if you have difficulty walking etc!

My daughter went on one of the children's riding holidays at valley farm and thought the instructors there were very helpful and kind, the horses well trained and the stables lovely. The only aspects that she felt let the experience down slightly was the fact that in the description online of the holiday it said that children would be responsible for the care of their horses, however she felt this was not the case , as they only really ride the horses they are given instead of taking care of them. She also felt that the fact they were mixed ability and aged groups held back the more experienced people as they were expecting to do more and some people were unable to. The accomodation was also very basic and in some cases there was not room for all the beds. Other than those few problems the rest of the experience was very good and she enjoyed herself.

Over all, I like it. Good cafe, friendly staff, friendly horses, and nice people all seem to be here. Though great for kids, adults do get a nice range of things to do as well. However, after trying these things, mainly cafe, it can start to get a bit boring.

Very nice for erm, almost everything if you like all things horsey; good campsite, really nice cafe and menu. Wandering along the boxes seeing the horses and seeing the daily the putting out to grass. Good start for cycling days out. Showers could do with a bit modernising but not a big problem for us.

Great, friendly, efficient service, where you feel your children are well looked after in a kind, organised environment. Horses are lovely and my daughter has learnt a huge amount. Lots of events for all levels of riding. Good confidence building and skills.

We stayed for five nights on the campsite and my daughter did various pony days and lessons during that time. She learned so much and improved in confidence no end. Great if you have a dog, as there are plenty of walks around the farm, and it’s really handy having facilities like the cafe on site (and a vending machine with cold drinks - we had some very hot days). It was just brilliant, I think we’ll be back next year :)
