This is a fantastic pub tucked out of the way. The ale is superb and the food is fantastic. It’s so good we cancelled our original plane for later in the year to book in to stay here instead. The staff are lovely and personal greet us every time we go in. As a double bonus it is very dog friendly too

Had lunch here, the shin beef pudding was nice, Side of potatoes was extra but we're also nice. Had a good pint to wash it down. The place is set in a nice location with some old charm.

Spent a night here with my family of 4, in 2 rooms. Very decent size, dinner was fantastic, complimentary breakfast was sumptuous. Location-wise was convenient, very short drive to the village centre, Ingleton waterfalls, White Scar cave and other attractions in the Yorkshire Dales

Decided to have a meal in there after a walk in the hills and before my drive home. The sunlit restaurant looked inviting and was virtually empty and as a member of staff started leading me in to a table, a woman rushed out of the kitchen and instructed him to sit me in a side roomThe room was dismal and a member of staff was sat at a table doing paperwork. If I had not been so tired after my walk and thinking it would be better having a meal before my journey, I would have walked out. I had changed out of my walking clothes and wore clean clothing, so I could not be accused of being scruffy. The food was OK, the chips were nicely done. The sunlit restaurant still had several empty tables as I left. Will not be returning there and will find somewhere to stop on the way home in future.

Called in for Sunday lunch. Its a pleasant enough place but the food was poorly prepared. This was our fourth visit and the third time we felt the food was not to the standard hoped for, especially considering all the other reviews stating how good this place is for food. Will not be giving it any more chances. I advise you to eat elsewhere.

Fantastic three night stay at The Marton Arms! The staff were super friendly and helpful - particular thanks to Heather for making us feel so welcome. The rooms were warm, spacious and the beds very comfortable. The food is next level and the settling for dining by the fireplace was cosy and relaxing. Thank you for making our trip so special!

I'm delighted to share our wonderful experience at the Marton Arms. We had a table for 4 and were truly impressed by the delicious food. The selection of beer and wine was equally delightful, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Highly recommended!
