Premier Inn Rotherham East (M18/M1) hotel

One night stop over, on the main bus route and local fish n chips, Greek takeaway available. Good reception and fairly quiet hotel had a good sleep

The hotel is superb for us. Lovely size shower room and beds very comfortable and clean.Lynn was especially helpful with a couple of minor issues. She was extremely professional and went out of her way to assist us. A brilliant ambassador for the company.Thanks, Lynn.

Always enjoy staying here. The staff are just lovely. Always helpful and any request is never to much trouble for them.Food is lovely in the pub next-door too. The steaks are superb as is the full English.

Stayed for a week, great staff so genuinely helpful and friendly. However the service at the beefeater linked is awful. Kitchen staff just couldn’t be bothered to warm part of my meal, pulled pork was cold. They just left me sitting waiting for half hour. I with no chance of getting my food. I was told oh it’s because they are closing the kitchen . Awful !!!

Premier Inns are consistent and always clean, tidy and comfortable. Some are just newer than others.I have stayed in the Rotherham M18 /M1 hotel at least 1 night every month for the past 3 years. I have found the hotel very good with the staff being very friendly and going the extra mile to ensure your stay was a good one.Beefeater next door does excellent breakfasts

I recently had a disappointing experience during my stay at Premier Inn Rotherham, as the room I was assigned had a strong smell of cigarettes. As a non-smoker, this was not only unpleasant but also quite concerning.Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed the pungent odor of stale cigarette smoke. It was evident that the room had not been properly cleaned or aired out to eliminate this unpleasant smell. This lack of attention to detail is simply unacceptable, especially in a hotel that prides itself on providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for its guests.The lingering smell of cigarettes not only affected the overall ambiance of the room but also made it difficult to breathe fresh, clean air. I had to endure the discomfort of this offensive odor throughout my entire stay, which significantly impacted my comfort and overall experience at the hotel.

A good out of the way place with little traffic noise. Staff are very helpful and kind, thry helped us with a taxi service. The electric was out in the beefeater so we were not able to get food unfournately. The TV in our room was a bit fuzzy as the screen was old so could use an update. Bedroom was very clean and extra pillows were provided. You have to make sure you ask the staff to get the cleaner to clean your room...simply hanging the sign outside does not help as we discovered.There is a sainsbury just outside with a cashpoint which is useful as a lot of the taxis only take cash. There is also a really good fish and chip shop right next to it a well. It is near a bus stop as well which goes to Sheffield.

Not as good a visit as previously. The room was quite cool, and the thermostat appeared to work when it felt like it. Not the hotels fault, but no breakfast available at the associated Beefeater because of a power outtage. I think a reduction in rates would have been a nice gesture.

Lovely clean, quiet, comfortable stay. Especially liked that we could access the restaurant from inside the hotel building. The weather was grim and I wasn't looking forward to taking 3 kids outside to get to the beefeater for tea, luckily we didn't have to! Very enjoyable stay.

Absolute sham and scam of a hotel. I stayed at the Premier Inn Rotherham location from the 17th to the 19th of November. I have a receipt for the two nights I settled upon check-in. However, the subsequent day, my credit card was inexplicably charged for an additional two nights that were not part of my original reservation. On November 21st, I emailed Premier Inn to report the unauthorised charges, and I was assigned case number WHB-2043395-B4J6. I received no reply. Efforts to resolve with hotel reception were futile, with staff claiming ignorance and advising me to submit the complaint through the website. Frustrated, I had to contact my bank today to reverse the charges. Steer clear of this hotel. If I could assign it zero stars, I undoubtedly would. Utterly infuriating.
