ibis Chesterfield Centre - Market Town
Staff could not be more helpful.Booked two rooms for two nights and required a accessible room for my mum.Staff took the time to change the second room to be close to the accessible room.Throughout the stay Staff we're friendly, and helpful and nothing was to much trouble.We are annual visitors to chatsworth House and will be booking our accommodation with you again, so please keep up the good work and high customer service.

This is quite frankly the worst hotel I've ever been in, in my life. dirty room that had not been cleaned, dirty bed so bad my wife and myself were iching, just sitting on the bed, dirty dusty sofa bed with dirty marks all over it.Carpet was full of stains. In fact it was so bad myself and my wife couldn't even Stay there we went downstairs to ask to change the room but were told that they were fully booked. No solution to the matter was offered.I Asked to speak to the manager and was told that he was there so my wife sent an email to the manager.My wife had a callback from the Manager at Chesterfield ibis and was assured that he would look into the matter and deal with it.Up to this time the matter has not been resolved and the manager has not even bothered to call back to offer an agreeable solution which would be compensation.Accor group who run this chain have shown their true colours poor customer service, poor quality accommodation.And they ignore customers I will definitely be reporting the issue to the senior executive.

Value for money at this hotel. It's in the perfect location. Walking distance to town centre. Rooms are a bit dated but clean. Nice bar and restaurant. Good place to stay with your family. Stayed here many times.

Staff were very pleasant but the building seems rather run down.The room card keys didn't work very well. One guest was locked out for half an hour and even the hotel's master key didn't work straight away.Breakfast was OK.

We stayed to attend a nearby Wedding for one night as a party of 6 adults in three rooms, all on the third floor.Car parking is good.Booking in was straightforward and the Receptionist was polite and efficient. As were all staff we encountered.We were given Room 325, which upon entering we found that one of the windows would not shut. The handle had been torn from one of the screws and was not operable. We were quickly re-assigned to room 322. Interestingly room 325 on the rear of the building did not have secondary double glazing to keep out traffic noise, whereas the rooms on the front such as 322, did have this welcome addition. This seemed strange as the rear of the building backed onto the main Chesterfield - Sheffield road so would have benefited from this as well.Overall, the hotel is tired and dated. The rooms although clean and tidy, are old in style. The decor/furniture is dated by comparison with competitors, e.g. Premier Inn and Travelodge. The bathroom was weary"

Hotel staff very good but they are let down by the lack of investment in the hotel itself. The bedrooms have exactly the same decor and carpets as when I last stayed 8 years ago! The wallpaper is in a terrible state and the carpets not much better.

Staff are very friendly and give you a warm welcome. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds. Only downside is the limited food offer for dinning breakfast. If you have special dietary needs, consider going elsewhere for food.

A perfect one night stay, the radiator was working properly and we had a warm room which is so rare nowadays( I can't stand cold rooms), good value for the money, central location, spacious, clean room and bathroom, and friendly staff.

Poor value. Hot breakfast is too expensive (£12). After probing the reception staff we learned of a cheaper cold breakfast. Breakfast/bar room furniture was in such poor condition it should be in the council skip. No phone in our room, no toiletries in bathroom.
