Vue Cinema Reading
Looks like Vue cinema in Reading is not maintained as everything appears very dated. The seats hadn't been cleaned and some of them were ripped. We watched a movie in Screen 4. The sound system is good. Overall an average experience for the price you pay.

I've always had a good experience when I've visited here unfortunately there are some rowdy people in the screens sometimes and I wish there was something that could be done. The screens are often very clean however I have found a few times that there was popcorn all over the floor on the top row in the bigger screens and a lot of the cup holders seem to be sticky.

I understand that the cinema business is having a hard time but the entrance to this place is a dump. The lad on the concessions counter was pleasant but the popcorn wasn’t very fresh for the money. Loiterers hanging around in lobby. Movie brightness inconsistently flickered which was very distracting. If you want more people to come, clean up your act.

Tired and dirty venue, not one seat for anyone to sit on let alone for disabled people. The actual service is appauling and very rude in general. Not a very nice experience at all and would recommend avoiding this chain of cinemas, odeon and Showcase are in another league and well worth the extra ticket money in my opinion, i know this chain is struggling and now i can see why because its awful!

Easy parking available at riverside, easy to locate. Has always been super clean and tidy when visiting! Much better than other local Vue cinemas

Lovely ambience and it was quiet when I went so I liked it.Even though there were many people in the screen room, it still felt cozy and private.

I think this is a good value cinema in an excellent location, plenty of restaurants along the promenade for a before/after meal. I saw Equaliser movie, Denziel Washington at his best as the Avenging Angel". I had a saver seat (£6.49) it was OK but would like some recline. I think it would be worth paying £2 more for the VIP seats."

Been there to see a film at screen 11 recently. The place is run down, the show room is so cold. Everyone have to keep the coat on to keep them warm. We were literally freezing for over three hours there and have to rush back home afterwards to warm up. People will catch cold in that environment. I don’t know what is the minimum temperature they should maintain by health and safety regulations but it is surly not healthy.

Went to see sound of freedom yesterday. Place was clean and well lit. The staff was polite and friendly.Any inquiries asked was promptly answer.Why no 5stars was that the food and drinks were exorbitant!Back to the movie - sound of freedom it is a great movie. Bring some tissues along! It makes you wonder. Go see the movie
