Extreme Kutz

I came from Scotland just for a wee visit. The lads were extremely welcoming and very nice. I watched their homely relationships with their customers and they were extra nice to an outsider. Desmond was my barber and I can now say “Desmaaaaaand cut my hair!” Excellent service!

Wayne has been cutting my hair since 2005 and I can’t emphasise enough how incredible every cut has been since then. The staff at Extreme Cutz have always been warm, welcoming, professional when I visit the shop. The shop has such a friendly buzz and everyone (staff and customers) is always laughing and having fun. I could go on but to summarise you won’t find a better barber shop in St Albans.

The best Afro Caribbean barber in St. Albans. I have been coming to this shop for the last 20 years and I can safely say this is the best shop in town. Extremely professional, friendly and most of all gives the best haircut experience in Hertfordshire.

I normally use Turkish barbers, but no more! I did question when I went into the solon, wondering if they would be happy to cut an old man's hair like mine. It has a young person / youth look about it from outside with trendy guy hanging outside. I was welcomed warmly, the guy that cut my hair took great care and time over it. I am detailed.

We found a black barbershop in St. Albans and the results speak for itself. So happy to have found this place as it's not too far from our home and prevents us going all the way to Watford to get haircuts for the kids.

I have been getting my haircut from Extreme Kutz since 2004/2005 and I still do, that should tell you something. The professionalism and etiquette Wayne has his team show on a continued basis is one of the main reasons why I come here. Everyone is extremely professional, especially Alfie who manages the bookings effectively. The main thing of course, is the standard of haircuts. All of the barbers are of an extremely high standard and they take their absolute time on you and never, never rush which I have encountered in the past. They also offer facials and other pampering products for men/women and children. Don't delay I can assure you!

Tend to get my hair cut every couple of weeks, just to keep it short. Process involves shearing down to a certain grade and then cleaning up on top. Normally takes 10 minutes.After moving to St Albans, ventured out to get my hair cut and told the barber what I wanted. He proceeded to shear at different grades until I had to stop him and remind him that I only wanted something simple while all of the time giving me pretty rough treatment which at times felt like he would draw blood. Bigger insult, after all this, simple piece of work cost me 20 quid which normally costs me 10 in London.Don't know what these guys are good for but if you want anything simple done, don't bother.
