Great venue for the family. Me and my daughter have been training together here for 18 months, even online over lockdown. Ian is committed to the training, it's good exercise and great for discipline. Highly recommend.

McKinstry Family Karate is great for the whole family. It is a perfect Martial Arts School for the whole family to train together. I would highly recommend the school to anyone and I am so glad that I can learn alongside my children in a brilliant dojang with an amazing teacher.

My family and I have been training at McKinstry Family Karate since Mar 17; it has always been an excellent place to learn Martial Arts and train, but the work that has gone into it over the past year has made it truly outstanding.I highly recommend the Dojang to anyone aspiring to learn Martial Arts, or just improve their fitness. Instruction is provided in a friendly and professional manner, aimed at building confidence, knowledge and friendship- as well as the fine points of the Art itself.

My son has recently joined and is absolutely loving it. A very friendly and encouraging environment to learn and develop new life skills. Appropriate measures are being taken to keep everyone as COVID safe as possible. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new hobby.

Great!! Been taking my 3 year old son here for just a few weeks and he’s already benefiting. Great teacher who keeps the lessons appropriate to the age group. My son looks forward to his classes every week!

My son has been attending for nearly 3 years since he was 4 years old. He loves going every Friday night and Saturday morning. Each lesson is run exceptionally well. All the pupils work hard but have a fun time and always leave smiling. I would happily recommend McKinstry Family Martial Arts to anyone who is considering taking up a martial art.

It's been over a year since my daughter and I decided give McKinstry Family Martial Arts a try and I'm so glad we did. As well as keeping us fit and teaching self defence, it's great to be able to learn something new together. Mr. McKinstry finds just the right balance of discipline and tradition and keeping the lesson fun for the younger members. Highly recommended!

My kids and I have been members of McKinstry Family Martial Arts for several years now and can’t speak highly enough of the place. There is a real family feeling with a social side additional to the karate.
