Following a string of good visits, we were pretty shocked given our last visit to the surgery for a routine check up for our 5 month old daughter.The GP we met with was adamant that the wee one didn't have a tongue tie, to the point that they almost appeared affronted that we questioned their decisioning.We contacted and subsequently attended an appointment with a specialist in Cheltenham who diagnosed her with a 'moderate to severe' tongue tie. We were lost for words.I worry for those mother's who have been told the same thing, trusting the GP and potentially continued breast feeding in pain, possibly causing further issues down the line for both mother and child.

Absolutely impossible to call them. Useless. ALL THE TIME too busy to answer the phone. Zero call back as well, a disgrace. I can’t even book a normal GP appointment online, only for flu shot is available appointments. I am going to complain to NHS. Something isn’t quite right with that GP Center.You (whoever comes to replay this comment with copy paste answers) look at the reviews and have some critical thoughts about it… are all of the these people wrong? No! Investigate.

Utter sham. What a massive reduction in services, used to be registered at quay house surgery which was amazing. This place is impossible to get an appointment at, thrown through many different systems when you do try, very little human interaction, different person each time, no specific dr allocated to you. Whoever dreamt up this was just after the money. Ended up filling a form online which resulted in me getting a text message telling me to call 111! They know very little about what’s up with me other than a line on a form - the triage is to pass me onto advice I’ve already followed! Unbelievable.Edit: no I won’t contact you directly because the reason Google maps reviews exist is so that the issues can be discussed on an open forum for everyone to see and make their own judgements.

I’d gotten used to waiting in queues when calling in the past or hearing people complain but my recent experiences have been positive and I’m hoping this is a sign that HMG is finding its feet.It did take a couple of weeks for my recent appointment which is the only reason I’ve not given five stars. However the doctor helped to finally sort a long-term condition I’ve suffered from, which I’m truly grateful for.After this I needed some paperwork from them, when I called I was surprised to be number 1 in the queue! The reception team were so helpful, as was the person who tracked down my old paper records just in time for a deadline I had.Like I say I really hope my recent experience is the future for HMG!

Avoid it if you can.Some days take over 1 hour to answer phone but below is what happened:I got to my appointment with a dermatologist that I booked 3 months ago, weird as 3rd world countries have better appointments than England, who thought?I got there asked where the dermatologist was, the blonde lady told me first floor, when I got there, I asked if I had been called already, 1 couple said no, the gentlemen said yes in front of them, I was only 9 minutes late as I know they take a long time to sometimes call people, so I speak to a lady who works there, she says OK I'll tell reception now to put you back in line, I joke you not, 20 MINUTES LATER, she comes back saying she has done nothing because reception said I wasn't called by doctor, I fume, she asks me to go down to reception, I'm like why didn't she tell me before??????????? Instead of keep me waiting for no reasonAt 9 45 I go to reception, guess what happens? They say they need to reschedule the appointment I spend my last money to get there, she said they can't see me, I lose it and I confess, I started swearing anr crying for the first time in my life at a service staff, I walk out and throw the detergent at the floor and tell them they can remove me from the GP list as I don't care. Worst DOCTORS in my life, not the middle East had that, not Brazil, not Cuba, England is worse than 3rd world countries

I filled out the online form and was told I'd be contacted in 5 working days with a time for a GP appointment. A week went by and I hadn't heard anything. I phoned up and was told they can't book GP appointments over the phone, that they had received my form and that someone would get back to me that day. Nobody got back to me.It's impossible to get an appointment to see a GP here. The reception staff were rude. Abysmal service.

Given how many negative reviews there are, I feel compelled to add my own experience.I have needed to contact HMG numerous times over the past 4 years, since my son was born.Most recently, today.I called at midday after initally deciding not to contact a GP.I requested a callback and received this within 25 minutes.The receptionist was friendly and polite and we have been given an appointment for this afternoon, which is exactly what we were hoping for.Dealing with people in my own day job, I am more than aware people often have unrealistic expectations.I imagine this accounts for a large portion of the 1 Star reviews.

Honestly atrocious. Give you false information. Claim you’ve never handed in paper work on multiple occasions. Lose your diagnosis records. Don’t have half of your info and then say you can’t have any of those things as it’s not on your records ,even though it’s a fault of their own. Get you to do their job for them basically. Cause you unnecessary mental stress and issues in life. Absolutely abysmal!

Was asked by my doctor to book a follow up appointment. No body answers the phone. Called on three different days. Went online to book an appointment, can't do it on a Sunday even though it may take 5 days for them to get back to you.

Absolutely disgraceful treatment of my elderly mum today. I booked her in for her appointment and was told to take a seat in the waiting area". We waited 30 minutes and the receptionist came over and said that the appointment was at another surgery... so why were we asked to stay at HMG? I am disgusted with her treatment..told to.come back at 2.00... it was 9.30am. What happens to lone
