The air rifle, BFTO club is amazing. One of the best in the country. The people there are really friendly. There are two ranges and there is also a pistol range. Safety there is paramount. It is a really well run club. If you are in to air rifle shooting there is nowhere better.

It's OK as the national range but it doesn't screem a national treasure. The insistence that footpaths and carparking on anything other than 600 yards and half the 300 for the long-ranges always seems to be in the mud has always confused me. It may be a planning thing, but it would cost so much less to place proper carparks and foot paths than continuing to maintain the gravel mounds that are currently used. This would give much more access to disabled shooters. Take it from me dragging a wheelchair across the gravel and mud is not easy , and seeing the walking sticks slipping is concerning. Great use of electronic target making slowly creeping in, but it is always nice to have a marker to communicate with. Overall, it's a nice place with lots of history, and it is an operationally well run range.

Came down looking to sell my PCP air rifle, ended up going for a tour, meeting this lovely chap working in the leisure centre, who kindly showed me around and then let me set up to shoot some targets. Fantastic customer service, thank you. For a place I was just stopping in, I will definitely be returning! Even met an ex-olypian shooter! What a place!

Bisley (a.k.a. the National Shooting Centre) is the home of competitive rifle shooting. Many interesting period buildings, set within the campus.Bisley is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC as a tourist venue. This is for safety and security reasons, as well as Legal compliance. In fact, the whole place is surrounded by razor wire and much of the place is owned by the Ministry of Defence. However, there are regular official Open Days, when members of the public are made most welcome, and you can have a go at experiencing what it's like to fire a rifle. Visit the NRA GB website for details of how to book onto a Public Open Day, and drink in the experience of one of the UK's hidden historical gems.Did you know that the UK usually wins more medals for shooting in the Olympic and Commonwealth Games than in any other sport?

My home range and home club. Training courses aren't cheap but they are of the highest standard and include a LOT of range time, shooting a mix of rimfire and fullbore rifles at 25, 100, 600 and 1000 yards! Just a visit to Bisley is like a journey through British history.

A great venue for a large number of varied Shooting disciplines.I first shot at Bisley about 40years ago where it was very staid and old fashioned facility. It has evolved into a modern multi range complex run very professionally with very courteous staff. It still has plenty of character and history but is now a modern commercial concern focused on improving its facilities for its members. Well done to you all.

Allways enjoy Bisley, mega hot this time, no provision for this.It is improving slowly, needs to be a more rounded visit, i.e better services, but getting there, just now need to invest in remote ranges away from Bisley. Recommended day shooting.
