Norwich Kung Fu Academy - Clover Hill

Joining Norwich Kung Fu academy is the best thing I’ve ever done. I signed up in the summer of 2016 as a complete beginner - and with the help, encouragement, kindness and dedication of our instructors and the other students I managed to do something I never thought I would do and earned my Black Belt before the end of 2019. It’s a really friendly place to be and I feel lucky to be part of such a great academy.

I can safely and honestly say that Norwich Kung Fu Academy is an excellent self-defence and martial arts school. Whether you have plenty of experience or are coming fresh to the entire thing the funny, kind, knowledgeable and devoted instructors do not disappoint on any level. Everything from the gradings to learning new forms piece by piece is wonderfully enjoyable and thoroughly well organised. Would recommend!

Very good self defence classes for Kung Fu, the teachers are friendly and help you out to work at your own pace no rush. The times are good as they are in the evening so for most people it’s after work or after school for children. They also have a fantastic website with all the videos and guides online which prove to help in practice at home. They provide one to one sessions so you can track your progress individually and have more time with the trainers to further develop your skills, the equipment and pricing is also not expensive and affordable they also provide you with everything if you don’t have it.

Thoroughly enjoy these classes - I cancelled my gym membership and replaced it with Kung Fu instead! Empowering, fun, social! It really helps relieve stress and learning new moves means that I'm in the moment and therefore can give my brain a rest from the madness of life. So, I'm practicing mindfulness, improving my strength and mental acuity - I always feel calm and experience a sense of wellbeing after a class.

Amazing classes! My kids have joined first and I have followed shortly after them. Sifus Ringer and Will are very profesional and the dynamic between the two of them is exceptional. Classes are very well thought, but also full of fun. We have all made great friendships and bond with fellow classmates. Highly recommend!!!

My 13 year old son has been training at the Kung fu academy for two years. He really enjoys the classes and loves and respects his teachers immensely. They are such excellent role models for him and he is learning to have self discipline, patience and a great work ethic.I would recommend the academy for anyone who not only wants their child to learn a brilliant marshal art, but to also gain valuable life skills.

A fantastic Martial Arts school. Having tried a few places only Norwich Kung Fu academy had the right blend of fitness, education, meditation, fun and outlook I was looking for. The instructors are kind, intelligent and patient, especially with my two kids. Their method of training seamlessly blends physical abilities with emotional and spiritual growth without ever feeling forced or inauthentic. They happily accept all kinds of people, ages and levels of fitness and encourage you to engage in a way that made me stick at it to black belt and beyond. It changed me for the better physically but also emotionally and mentally. If you're thinking of starting something, I highly recommend joining. You can start and stop whenever you want and there is never any pressure on how you choose to train. One of the best decisions I ever made.

Brilliant. Classes are lots of fun, well planned out and combine Kung Fu, meditation and breathing exercises. It's obvious the tutors, Sifus Will and Ringer, are not only passionate about Kung Fu but also about passing that knowledge onto others. If you're thinking about trying it, do it, what have you got to lose and you may discover something you really enjoy.

I have been attending Norwich Kung Fu Academy for just over 7 months now. The classes are hugely enjoyable. Sifu Will & Sifu Ringer both have lots of experience and deliver the class in a friendly and engaging way.This is my first martial arts and I feel I have learnt a lot in a short period of time, while having lots of fun. I would highly recommend Norwich Kung Fu Academy to those wanting to learn a martial arts or who want to develop their current knowledge further.
