Zen Garden Restaurant
We visited here in January after my partner treated me to a spa afternoon at Senspa I’m the same location. The food was amazing and the chap that oversees the restaurant was very efficient and attentive. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was despite my partner booking well before Christmas we had to wait to one side for10 minutes or so for our table which was a bit odd. But overall very nice.

Wonderful place. Excellent service. Good cooking. We were treated to fizzy wine and delicious sweets when we mentioned our wedding anniversary.

Lovely Thai Meal. The menu is a great selection (including loads of veg/vegan options), the food was very delicious food and portions were fantastic

Oh man, we went here as part of the spa package and oh my god it was so good. We've got experience of Thai food and it was really delicious, generous portions too! The garden seats are lovely also. Tik in particular was a great and playful host. Sea bass start and duck dish are the one! Thank you all!

Had a really lovely meal last night. Each table has a room divider between it so you have a good level of privacy and Covid protection.Staff are very friendly and service is excellent. Really noticeable.Food is also excellent. Really tasty. Highly recommend the pad Thai, one of the best I’ve had and those prawns were giant!Highly recommend

Lovely food, had the sea bass for the starter which was done well and then had the lamb shank for the main which was great. The broccoli side was very under cooked and once the kitchen had closed the waiting staff seemed to disappear. They didn't charge me for the broccoli side which I appreciate but considering the price of the meal its basics. My starter arrived 5 mins after ordering and I had to ask for the main to come a bit later. I was told I could have 15 mins before my main which is fine but it came out after about 6 mins. The restaurant its self is delightful but I'm really disappointed in the service.

This is one of those places where if I could give a “no star” review I would. Although the staff are quite sweet, if you’re used to authentic Thai flavours then best to give this place a wide birth. Som Tom salad with no garlic or chilli, pad thai that basically had a ketchup sauce wrapped around the noodles and a green curry that had boiled to death chicken breast and thin green flavourless sauce. Not to forget over cooked boiled broccoli with no flavour. After complaining about the poor standard, the manager did offer to take off the starters from the bill, but £74 for two mains which were inedible and two teas…??? In London, the flavours in Thai restaurants are so authentic, and you would never pay such a ridiculous price for just two mains and some tea! Not a place for anyone who has ever eaten real Thai food.

My other half and I ate at The Zen Garden a couple of weeks ago. We had previously visited this restaurant to celebrate our engagement back in 2019 and were looking forward to eating here again. We ordered the satay, spring rolls and papaya salad which were delicious and full of flavour. Unfortunately the mains were not up-to scratch (Pad Thai Goong & Tofu with mixed veg). This was particularly disappointing for my partner who is vegetarian so options are not as broad as non-veg options. The Tofu with mixed veg dish (Med Ma Muang) in particular was very disappointing. The tofu was very tough and rubbery (Which is characteristic when there is too much excess water held in the tofu). When brought to the waitress' attention she kindly asked the chef on our behalf and the feedback was that this was the way it was cooked" (This dish was not rubbery during our last experience). For a dish that costs £18.95
