Lots of fly guys in the phone repair world so I looked for a business that was well established and had up to date reviews that were favourable. This guy even replied to the reviews. Lovely clean shop and I was given good advice re my phone. Told what price I could pick in terms of quality and there was no pressure to go for the dearer one. Very polite gent and he had my phone back to me within the hour. I would certainly recommend him.

I put my Hauwei P20 Pro in for repair. The screen was unresponsive at times and the back was coming away. I spoke to a man called Daniel who said that the battery had swollen and was likely interfering with the screen connector.When I got the phone back the back of the phone was stuck down. I was charge £65. The battery was not replaced. I was assured it was fixed.When I started up my phone I noticed it was difficult to type certain letters. Eventually, by rotating the screen and changing font sizes I managed to put my Gmail account details in. I got an app that let me check the screen and I was horrified to see there was a line about 1cm on the right that was not responding to touch. The phone was useless for typing as it was too tricky working around this.I put the phone back and after calling and explaining multiple times to this other guy that said Daniel will be in the next day, then the next day etc. He told me the screen needed replaced. Yet this was not the problem I put the phone in for.They insisted on another £50 to fix it. I already gave them £65 so I said I won't pay more than £100 in total as it's an old phone and not worth that.As a professional service, they should have checked everything before handing to the phone back. If they can't repair they should say so. I gave the money in good faith. They refuse to refund. The guy said £50 (more) to repair. I said no, he said get out I'm done with you.Poor service, treat customers like an old wet rag, don't do what they are supposed to do, even when I offered to pay an extra £35 so £100 for repair.Nasty customer service, phone is worse than before I put it to them.Don't use them, they are horrible to deal with. They talk nice at first but if you have a problem they want more money. I would give zero stars if I could.Update on response from the owner. The phone was not in bad condition. I can show this when it comes to court. The screen is totally unmarked and the phone unscratched and the screen was working and I showed you this when I handed it over for repair. When I got it back you know the phone was reset. The display although showing a screen was normal. When I entered my account details it was near impossible due to the screen not being touch sensitive in an area all the way up the right hand side of the screen. When I brought it back I showed this to you. You seem to be saying I damaged this in the day after picking up the phone. You wasted weeks of my time in call after call after call. You needed me to explain the problem multiple times to you. Wasting more time. I made a fair offer to compromise because as far as I see, you only stuck the cover on the back down and charged me £65. You made my phone worse and I think £100 is fair for a replacement screen not even counting the waste of my time and effort going to your store multiple times and multiple calls and weeks of waiting.Their response also shows how bad they are. If the lines were on the screen when I handed it in for repair, why did you not recommended replacement in the first place? If it was a swollen battery, why did you not recommend replacing the battery?Poor poor service. Go save your energy and money and go elsewhere.Second update. Since they say the phone was in poor condition I decided to take photos for court reasons. The original problem with the back coming off has returned. I don't know if this is because they opened it again or whatever. I have posted images on this profile.
