Terrible. Waiting around an hour for dinner for 3 people when pub was nearly empty and the rest customers there were not eating. Staff do not know why they are there and what to do - I wanted a small Peroni, she gave a gluten free, no idea why, starter came with main, inside was full of flies... just unbelievable. Wouldn't go again. My meal was not too bad though, however the rest cannot say the same.

The food is absolutely outstanding! The home made stake and ale pie is to die for. The fireplace is lovely. We loved our visits and definitely will return.Thank you for the Team for their hard work ❤️

Went in there about 2:20 on Friday 8. There was a woman in front of me and asked if she could take a menu to which she was told yes. Anyway I got some drinks and also took a menu. Around 10 minutes later I went to the bar to order some food. While waiting the woman who was in front of me earlier also came up to order. When the barmaid came up and I asked to order some food. I was told They had stopped doing food.Why couldn’t they have said something when we took the menu?Just to add to it a few minutes later a member of staff came out with some food for themselves.

Such a gorgeous new refurb. Clean, fresh, warm and welcoming. Great food and friendly service. We all loved our meals and enjoyed sitting outdoors in the beer garden. We’ll be back!

Great improvement with the new ownership.Food is home made, portions are huge and well priced. The veggie burger in particular has a lot to flavour.And best of all… real ale is back!
