Scenic long pier to the west side of Whitby harbour. Watch out for uneven planks and giant gaps between boards - bit like walking the plank but walking the pier!

Lovely brisk walk along the pier to blow the cobwebs away. Definitely blustery. Memorial to whitbys fishermen. Lots of places to sit. Warnings displayed against standing too close to barriers in bad weather due to waves coming over the walls. Beautiful views of the harbour and beach.

Amazing views here of across most of Whitby.Very windy at times but the new bridge is very good and allows for some lovely photos if you come at the right time.

Stunning views, this fantastic pier is well worth walking out to the end. It's usually a lot less crowded and more relaxing than the rest of Whitby. The Views over the sea and back over Whitby well worth the effort.

Great long pier, great for getting good photos, and also a little cooler on a hot day. The pier is really serene when the sea is calm and nobody around, but doesn't get too busy at peak times. Lots of seating, space, and bins. A must-see on any visit to Whitby!

Lovely and peaceful to walk on a morning!! You can hear the waves and the seagulls. So good to hear nature! Plenty of seating to choose from!!
