Made the switch to Lets Live Leeds with some HMOs earlier in the year. They’ve been amazing since the start. Very professional and approachable. Lucy has been fantastic throughout a complicated handover and Rebecca has been running the properties really well since. A good agent makes a huge difference to the bottom line, and being good to deal with is a nice bonus.

Thanks to Olivia for sorting out all my viewings , she was super nice and professional. Would recommend talking to her if you are looking for accommodation in Leeds. Helped me find the perfect properties.

Being new in the city, I didn’t really have much knowledge about the residential areas. Lucy the attendent who showed me the properties the company had was very professional and exceptional. I found my apartment with the help of Beth, who was patient and waited for me because I was running late for my viewing. Beth was kind when showing me around the property and made sure to answer politely whatever questions I asked. Also, Olivia who I was in communication with when processing my application was very tolerant and accommodating which made the application process very smooth. Overall, I am very pleased with their services.

I am in complete disbelief reading the majority of these other reviews, they must be paid for because I have never had a worse experience with a letting agency in all my years of renting. I relocated to Leeds for work and was lied to by this agency from the outset and throughout. I signed a tenancy agreement based not only on misleading but entirely false information given by the agent. I was told at the viewing that the “professional” house-share was mixed with both male and female tenants. I asked on multiple occasions and was told this every time. I even rejected on of their other properties based on the fact it was an all male house. It was explicitly clear what my requirement was regarding the other tenants. I discovered after moving in that there were 4 men living in the property and I was the only girl there. I was told the house was getting a cleaner and that a deep clean would be done prior to me moving in, this did not happen. The house was so filthy that I had to clean myself in order to live there until the cleaner came 4 days late. One of the two fridge freezers was unusable due to the stench coming from the fridge compartment and the other had a freezer compartment that was completely frozen over. I also discovered that the cleaner was a one off and not a new service like it was implied to me at the viewing. I also discovered that two of the tenants were regular marijuana users and could smell it in the kitchen at one point. Aside from this the house was in disrepair with several things broken or not in working order upon moving in. I never had hot water from the sink in my ensuite for the entire 3 weeks I lived there. The electricity went off and on in the last week I was there which meant no working fridge and no washing machine. It was frankly a safety hazard. I expressed my desire to leave and detailed all my concerns regarding the condition of the house and for my personal safety in an extensive email after my initial concerns raised via telephone were ignored for days. I was then informed the landlord had agreed to end my tenancy with immediate effect (I did not ask for this). I was given no offer to move to an alternative property or time to find alternative accommodation of my own. I ended up having to find somewhere else at very short notice which was extremely distressing. Not to mention the added cost of having to move house again in a new city within the space on 3 weeks. As if all this was not enough I then had to chase and chase to get my money back from them for the rent I paid. I was passed from pillar to post and had to repeat information already given to multiple employees who apparently did not talk to each other and had no idea about anything. It was tiresome and stressful to say the least. It took 4 weeks of constant back and forth after vacating the property to get my money back. Within which time they continued to harass me with emails of planned viewings, repairs and rent arrears even though I had vacated the property and was no longer a tenant. This continued even after having explained this to multiple staff members each time I was contacted. I would advise anyone looking to rent in Leeds to firstly make sure you know your rights as a tenant and the protections provided by law and avoid this company at all costs if you want a peaceful experience of finding accommodation and relocating.

Their professionalism and empathy were evident from the start, making the transition seamless and stress-free. They communicated promptly, ensuring I was comfortable every step of the way.
