Dash-Cam Man Glasgow

My husband and I had obtained 2 Dash cams from a well known high street chain and had them installed by their technician. The installation was appalling with cables lying across the rear window and obscuring the view but we were advised when we complained that there was nothing they could do to rectify this issue.We contacted Jay and Gordon at Dash Cam Man in Paisley and booked our cars to have the dash cams refitted. Their service was excellent, efficient and within minutes they showed us the poor wiring that had been done with the cables fitted over the front airbags which could have been catastrophic had an accident occurred.Jay and Gordon removed and refitted both our cameras in a very efficient manner and, once fitted, gave us a detailed demonstration of how the cameras worked - which had not been provided by the high street store after initial fitting. They also took time to set up the Wi-Fi on our phones to allow us to access footage and answer any questions we had. The fitting was second to none, all wires hidden and a highly professional service overall. I cannot praise them enough and my only regret is not going to Dash Cam Man first time round.Thank you for an excellent job.Mo Donaghy.

Searched for a reputable person / company to fit my front and rear dash cam as i wanted it done properly.Found IFIT and after reading reviews i booked in.From the inital booking in, to leaving the premises the service was outstanding, friendly and professional .Received a very warm welcome on arrival and what i immediately noted was the place was spotless. Great first impressions. No mucky garage here!!Jay fully explained the fitting process and thereafter showed me to the waiting room ( with facilities). Once the cameras were fitted he took the time to show me how to navigate my cameras.A true gentleman.Would most defo recommend to everyone. Thank you guys.

Front and rear dash cam's installed today. I had ordered the entry level, however Jay recommended a higher spec when he heard I was a driving instructor. It wasn't a hard sell just providing a solution more suited to my needs.The additional benefits were fully explained to me. Workshop was immaculate, as was the waiting area. Installed in just over an hour, Jay then walked me through the system. Overall a very professional service. I would recommend to anyone considering fitting dash cam's.

After some time researching locations where a dash cam can be fitted and being disappointed at the percieved lack of specialists who were able to do this type of work in the West of Scotland I came across Dash Cam Man's excellent website which explained clearly what fitting options were available and what the prices were. I contacted them and spoke to Jay who was able to clarify in a friendly way what system would be good for my vehicle and I booked a fitting appointment at their garage. Both Jay and Gordon were very good and patient at explaining fitting and how the system works. The whole process was very professional and took about an hour. The system is working well. I'm glad that I took the plunge and used Dash Cam Man - both Jay and Gordon are excellent in what they do and I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone thinking of getting a dash cam fitted

Just had the BlackVue DR750-2CH LTE front and back dash cam plus the BlackVue. B-124X installed to my Range Rover Evoque. I wanted a tidy installation with no wires visible I also wanted the parking mode recording but the landrover seeming has issues with the car battery if not installed correctly, resulting in a flat battery. I also wanted to be able to view live video footage on my iPhone and be notified of any event as they happen.I sent an email to dash cam man regarding the installation of the dash cam. I received a reply in great detail from Jay with recommendations of what would suit my needs and Land Rover car. In the email was a few different dash cam packages and accessories with a itemised price list for all parts and installation.After a few emails I decided on the BlackVue DR750-2CH LTE with the BlackVue battery pack.On the day of installation Jay & Gordon showed me a few options of where the front and rear camera and battery could be fitted. Once I decided on the location Jay explained how it would be fitted and where the cables would be fitted..Once fitted I was shown where the dash cams and battery were fitted and there was no wires visible. This was a first class job and well recommended for anyone looking to have a dash cam installation.Jay then took time to explain how it all worked and even set up my phone for the WiFi to the dash cam.End result was a very professional installation and superb knowledge on dash cams and installations for different makes of cars.Well Pleased and Thank-you Jay & Gordon.Douglas.

I have recently had front and rear Blackvue dash cams fitted by the dash-cam man. Installation looks factory fresh and great in every way. Talked through the whole process, and shown in great detail how they operate. Absolutely delighted with the work and the installation team. Would recommend them to others looking for this service.

Quite the opposite in fact. Jay made sure I was informed about the different packages and gave his own recommendations based on my individual needs.On the day of installation, Jay explained the various components and the installation steps. He and Gordon kindly showed me their progress during the installation, where the components would be positioned and why, how the wiring would be concealed from view and also why there would be no rattles resulting from the new equipment and wiring, a point I asked about because I'm obsessed about having no rattles and squeaks!After installation, Jay spent time going through the various settings and recommendations. Never once did I feel Jay was rushing to move on to the next customer. He was the consummate professional throughout.It has been a few days since the installation and I'm now spending time familiarising myself further with the settings, making adjustments when applicable. Thanks to Jay going through everything initially, it's all very intuitive and I have to say, installing front and rear cams with the parking mode option is a decision I should have made long before now. The tech is impressive and the apps work seamlessly.I feel more confident and reassured on the road now as a result. It's worth the investment. Plus, if you do decide to change your vehicle in the future, Jay and the team offer a service to reverse the installation and then reinstall in your new vehicle. Just give them plenty of notice. They're busy and it's not hard to see why.I would highly recommend their services.
