Recently went in to celebrate after buying a new car. All the bar staff were lovely and happy to chat with me. Great beers including the Flowerpots brewery and, as I've been told, regular guest ales. Will be there again and hoping to make it my regular (when the Mrs allows!)

I'm pleasantly surprised, been years since I drank in here. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable. Great place for a quiet drink.

Cosy little pub with a good selection of drinks. Staff all seem nice. I just wish I checked food timings before I went as I just missed service.

Have lived in Portsmouth all my life and often driven past The George.Went past today and fancied a pint,so thought i'd pop in.Three young people behind the bar. The girl was friendly enough but the two lads were swearing repeatably and one was particularly obnoxious and rude. Hope the management are aware and review this as I will not be setting foot in there again and would not expect paying customers to put up with that sort of service.

Great pub! The staff are fantastic, great customer service skills…especially Vic. She was so welcoming and made me right at home. Had a lovely evening! I will definitely be coming back ☺️

Nice pub with a selection of well kept some local beer on tap. Food was good pub food staff very friendly and knowledgeable
