The doctors and nurses are lovely but the receptionists have real attitude problems and never answer the phone, I’ve been calling for three days about a diagnoses (over voicemail!!) and they still haven’t answered or got back to me, also one of height and weight nurses had a go at me because she had to go and get my blood sugar metre she forgot to give me, I’ve been threatened to not be allowed insulin pods after missing appointment aswell, hate this place

Now serving as the MFT Vaccination Centre. Very quick and efficient taking a child there for a jab. Friendly staff. On the opposite side of Hathersage Road from the main Children's Hospital.

PICK UP YOUR PHONES!!!! I’ve called over 30 times over the past 11 months and not ONCE they’ve picked up! (Most of the time it’s important) I don’t know who’s in charge of this but your service is absolutely disgusting! To cancel or amended or even confirm an appointment I have to drive all the way down to the centre just to speak to a member of staff! How is this place still open with such appalling unprofessional service.

Diagnosed with diabetes in May 1997 up to date all treatment has been excellent and still is from the Doctors, Nurses and Receiptionists. Leaving a message gets reply as soon as staff are free to do so. In fact all the staff will go above and beyond to help, particularly when I changed from tablets to insulin. When late husband also a diabetic was diagnosed with as having a terminal disease, their help went above and beyond in every way. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL FROM ME AND ALL MY FAMILY.

No body ever answers the phone and when you make a suitable timed appointment it is always cancelled so then a un suitable appointment is then made at a ridiculous unachievable time which once is rescheduled is classed as a missed appointment under rules this is a BLOODY JOKE CENTER

I've been going there since 1989. The team has changed over the years but there is one consistent thread holding it all together: the team members are all excellent; they have experience, skill and real genuine care. Yes, they are busy, but their work and dedication is a tremendous asset to our healthcare in this region. Thanks everyone - well done and keep it up please.

Never answer the phone. You have to leave a message such as to cancel an appointment and then they don't get back to you so marked down and not attending when you did try and contact them. Really appalling service. Poor care for those unlucky enough to be diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. Treat you like you are to blame for your condition. Leaflets in all languages except English. See a different doctor each time no continuity of care. Room where they take bloods resembles Something from 'trainspotters'. Male healthcare staff with the stature of nightclub bouncers who are quite rough with you.
