Spent 2 nights here 1 was my wedding night and it was special night, and my entire family stay there ans they loved it there, and it was nice to see that they put a just married banner and a card from all the staff at the star & Garter.

Very nice older type town centre hotel.Room at the rear of the property was clean and comfortable. Also quietAlittle bit small but quite adequate.Staff were a.amazingly helpfulSpecial mention to kitchen staff who could not have done more to accommodate my gluten free requirements.I will go back here should I find myself in.the area again.

Really top value for money. Overnight stay after a wedding. Mandy on the front desk was most friendly and helpful. The room was clean comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was great value, home cooked fresh and served with a smile.

What a great friendly hotel. Conveniently situated off the High St in Andover. Really warm welcome on arrival. Room very comfortable with everything you’d need. Spotlessly clean throughout. Amazing breakfast, buffet with just about everything plus cooked food. Free car park at rear of building. A great value stay.

Like this place, stayed in the Stables this time, rooms are comfy and right in town centre. You need to know where to go to find reception and parking. Don’t believe your Sat nav it takes you to high street head for George Yard Car park and Robert’s your father’s brother……

Stopped here for one nightRoom was small but very clean and they provided tea coffee and biscuits tray and two bottles of water which was a nice touchFree parking on site which was excellentSo if looking for a short stay i would recommend

Stayed here over 10 times. Lovely courtyard and rooms attached. Plenty of parking. Location is right in town. Staff are great and the rooms are good value for money however. Only downfall, no bar.

We had a fabulous couple of days in this quaint little hotel.The staff were very accommodating, as we wanted to use the breakfast room in the evening to play cards.Actual breakfast was really tasty. There was a choice of full English or Continental.Would happily visit again!

It’s a fine and simple hotel. Recommended if you’re staying over in Andover and don’t have any specific room needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite good with a selection of full English and continental at the buffet. Food quality was quite good.

Spacious room with an excellent view of the town centre from my room with a good selection of tea , coffee and biscuits facilities. Unfortunately several rather lively debates from slightly inebriated groups of locals marred my early sleeping attempt, but I did have my window open which is hardly the hotels fault. I unfortunately didn't get to sample the breakfast as we needed to leave before 5am. There is a reasonably spacious carpark at the rear which is not accessible from the front and also quiet popular. You need to turn into the pay carpark entrance off East Street but follow the road aside it (George yard) and eventually you will come to the star and garter car park. Happy to stay again and hopefully that time get to eat some breakfast!
