We’ve stayed here 4 times previously, booked in again for next weekend. Always a nice place to visit. The decor could do with a little upgrade but for £60 per night it’s a great place

Great place to stay. Close access to the A19 and has a large car park with overflow parking. Rooms are slightly dated and could do with some renovation but can't grumble too much as price is normally reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. Whilst there as a guest, you have access to the gym and pool, although we just used the pub next door! Breakfast is a bit hit and miss. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall, great place to stay at fair prices.

My partner and I stayed there while we were going to a paintball event, which the spa and sauna after the game were a luxury.The rooms were clean, with a shower and bath. The TV in the room was basic, but we were only sleeping there.The breakfast was lovely, continental and cooked. Good food and a great start to the day.The grounds were quiet and peaceful. The functions that took place in the hotel finished at midnight and were not disruptive.The pool, spa and sauna were lovely and worth the trip!Will definitely be staying again.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Didn’t feel welcome or safe as a solo traveller.No blinds/nets up at bedroom windows so had to have curtains closed from early evening for privacy as people making phone calls in the carpark (it’s poor phone signal on EE, not sure about the others) could see inMildew around bath, stained shower curtain, stained carpet and curtains (!) and no tea spoons in the room - try eating your porridge with chop sticks at 5am

The rooms are really nice, comfortable beds very clean with a good service. Staff will help you out as much as needed with no complaints. They is a pub (obviously) shopping centre close by and local businesses. They’re is a petrol station over the road and many more things close by. We really enjoyed our stay at the bluebell and would definitely go there again.

Overall 5 stars. Its not The Ritz, and accommodation is basic, and tired looking, but, after a wedding party and a few pints it was fine. Bed was clean and comfortable, staff were really helpful and the breakfast was great. Good value for money with the wedding party rates. In a good location for A19 and beyond.

Was expecting an awful stay after reading the reviews but this was not the case. Staff gave warm welcome & good customer service throughout & provided a hassle free check in, room was a bit dated but good shower and bed was OK,if a bit creaky.Breakfast was good, coffee not so good.The food & customer service in the adjoining bar/restaurant was abysmal, and I would never eat here again.Food was overcooked on all visits & my ribeye steak had an unexpected egg on top. With gravy.Who puts gravy on an egg?Pure slop jockey chef aided & abetted by miserable & unprofessional bar staff.Good pint tho.Got a Domino's pizza on my last night as I'd had enough disappointment on my 3 previous visits to the restaurant.Overall better than I'd expected but spoiled by the food & bar experience.

Had a great stay here for a long weekend. Really handy for where we were visiting, service was superb especially as our keys kept needing reset. The room was great for the price, just a little dated decor wise but there seem to be renovations going on. Breakfast was great, plenty of options. The spa facilities were superb as we were visiting for a sporting event, the steamroom, jacuzzi and pool were just the thing after our event. Service was a little slow at the bar but over all a great place to stay, highly recommend!!

Not bad for a budget hotel. Clean and spacious room but tiny bathroom. Struggled with the shower and flushing of the toilet. Tbh the place could do with a little upgrade but for the price paid I cannot complain.Staff were helpful and mostly friendly. Great spa and all in all a very relaxing weekend.
