Very nice country house hotel, a beautiful old building, set in lovely grounds (the gym extension is a little run down on the outside). Tastefully decorated bedrooms with quality fittings and bathroom provisions, although in September found the room rather cold with no obvious way of controlling heating. F&B quality ingredients, albeit small, quite expensive portions. F&B service room for improvement. Breakfast busy, quite crammed in, food quality and variety good. Check out/in service very, very slow - one person serving a line of guests, definitely needs improvement. However, would stay again.

Dear all,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to convey my profound dissatisfaction and frustration with my recent encounter at your hotel, specifically at the lobby bar, which was further exacerbated by an interaction with the Duty Manager. As a long-standing patron of your establishment, I had never anticipated such treatment. On the evening of 4th of November, I arrived at the lobby bar at around 10:28 pm, eager to enjoy a relaxing drink. To my disappointment, I was informed by a staff member, whom I believe was the Duty Manager on duty, that the bar had already closed for the night and could not accept any more orders. I inquired about the closing time of the bar, but received no direct response. Instead, she informed me that they were only serving orders to hotel guests, a policy which I found both unusual and impolite.Fortunately, I had a reservation at your hotel, although I had not yet checked in. This necessitated a time-consuming process of going to the reception, checking in, and then proceeding to my room. In total, this took approximately 20 minutes before I could finally order a simple pint of beer. This delay is, in my view, entirely unacceptable. My disappointment escalated when I was shown the room initially assigned to me, which was located far away from the main building. Consequently, I requested a room change, leading to a return visit to the reception area where I once again encountered the Duty Manager. During this interaction, she made inappropriate comments about my assistance dog, further tarnishing the already unpleasant experience. At that moment, I was taken aback by the level of unprofessionalism, arrogance, and argumentativeness displayed by the Duty Manager. I had simply asked her what time the bar was open until, and her response indicated a clear lack of consideration for customer service and a desire to close up the bar early for her personal convenience.I am deeply disheartened by this experience, which falls far short of the high standards I have come to expect from your establishment. As a loyal customer with a long history of patronage, I had never encountered such disrespectful treatment before. Moreover, the comments made about my assistance dog were both inappropriate and discriminatory.I kindly request that you review the CCTV footage to determine the exact closing time of the bar and address the conduct of the Duty Manager during this incident. It is evident that additional customer service training is necessary for her if she indeed holds the position of Duty Manager.I trust that you will take this matter seriously and take appropriate action to ensure that such unpleasant incidents do not recur in the future. As a long-standing customer, I believe in your commitment to providing excellent service and maintaining an inclusive and respectful environment for all guests.I look forward to hearing from you regarding the steps taken to address this issue and to restore my faith in your hotel.

The Metropolitan Chic Residences were a blend of modern luxury and city vibrancy. The residences' sleek design and upscale amenities provided an urban retreat. Our suite was spacious, and the cityscape views were captivating. The concierge was attentive and recommended the best spots for city exploration. A stay here is a taste of cosmopolitan chic.

Fantastic manor style hotel. Loved our stay. We selected what I thought was a upper mid grade room, and was knocked off my feet with its size and view. Top notch.Billesley Manor has friendly staff, lovely rooms, and beautiful grounds. It's close to Stratford-upon-Avon, and other midlands towns. Definitely worth a stay, and we will choose to be them again. The breakfast buffet had the staples of English breakfast, but when we had a tight schedule day, we just grabbed M&S sandwiches from nearby area.

We recently stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the minute you arrived, lots of parking, a lovely exterior and setting and wonderful entrance beautifully decorated for Christmas. Met by a lovely lady who explained everything we needed to know in detail. We were in one of the rooms in the 'barn' and it was exceptional. A lovely big bed, great bathroom that led to a sort of walk-in wardrobe. A place to keep your clothes and bags and get changed. Everything spacious and spotlessly clean. There were some great touches - lamps everywhere, box of tissues on table and in the bathroom, a lamp/mirror which came on when you walked into the bathroom (very helpful the middle of the night). A folder full of brilliant information about the hotel and the area. The room was lovely and warm too. USB'S in every socket and great dispensers for gels and soaps. We used the spa and pool which isn't huge but still very nice. The lady on reception was very helpful and polite. The sauna, steam room and changing room very good. The walk to the spa is good too with a topiary garden, can't wait to go back in the summer :-)The bar area is lovely, with young but very nice staff, served us with a smile. The eating area look very good too but we choose to go into town. We didn't have breakfast either so can't comment on the food but there is an option to have breakfast delivered to your room for smallish cost. Two tiny things too improve, more tea bags in the room (only 2 when we arrived) the area by the door in the walk-in wardrobe could have another shelf and rail like the one on the other side so you have more room to hang stuff. These are very minor and overall the hotel is outstanding, we will return. Highly recommended :-)

A beautiful hotel with great staff and service. The spa was great the pool and gym were great to use and there was a designated time for children in the pool. It was never to busy in the gym so perfect for a hour workout. The only issue holding this back from 5 stars is the rood and its price. The steak priced at 38 pounds felt quite underwhelming as it seemed quite small. The desert and starter selection seemed quite bare as well. I understood the menu changes however the bar menu available was alot more open and had options at reasonable portions and sizes.

I recently came to Billesley Manor for a spa getaway with my friends to celebrate. Upon arrival we were greeted with a helpful staff member at the reception. We arrived an hour early for our spa treatments just in case. However, after waiting in the reception for a short while we were informed that our spa booking was in fact at 30 minutes earlier than our initial booking time (this was changed after my friend had booked it - although this is nobody’s fault in particular I feel like there should be better communication such as a phone call if our booking time was going to be changed) so we rushed to the spa to be greeted to a lady at the spa reception speaking to us as if we were late children to class. Me and one of my friends were then told our treatment would be cut short to 25 minutes instead of the 55. I have to say that although the facial was lovely, I had also booked a massage which I wasn’t able to get but paid for. All in all it most definitely wasn’t a relaxing spa experience as it felt like it finished as soon as it started. To top it off when we went to the bar to order some lunch to the spa dining area, the member of staff there responded sarcastically to my friend’s question about how long the food would take to be ready (we asked so we could ensure we were in the dining area at the appropriate time). I really am disappointed with the customer service for the spa experience and would not recommend it at all.Although our spa experience was anything but ‘luxury’, our room and our stay at the hotel was lovely. The grounds were stunning and the food was decent. The wait staff at the restaurant during dinner were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to those looking for a nice place to stay but don’t have high hopes for the spa!

Beautiful hotel in the countryside. There’s a lovely ambiance in the outdoor area with stunning grounds. The rooms were nicely decorated with comfortable beds and clean showers. We received a welcome cocktail which was very nice. Our food was good at dinner, but I will say the servers seemed a bit new/inexperienced. They weren’t the most attentive and had to keep locking eyes with them to get certain things. The gym is great with nice machines that all worked well. Our breakfast was lovely. Lots of options to choose from -cooked breakfast and complimentary. We didn’t use the spa or pool so can’t comment on that.I will say we ordered a cappuccino and flat white coffee at the bar and they were pretty terrible. Primarily milk (no foam) with minimal coffee and both tasted and looked the same, like a latte. So, that probably needs a bit of work…however, we had a lovely stay and really enjoyed ourselves!

The hotel and restaurant staff are lovely, the spa needs improvement.-My friends and I booked the Relax and Retreat Spa. Upon arrival we were greeted very kindly by Pip who told us to relax whilst our rooms were getting ready. We had arrived for 11.10am, well in time for, what we were originally told - a spa booking at midday. Whilst we were sitting in the lounge, we were told that our spa booking was actually at 11.30am. At this point it was 11.35am and when we got to the spa, we were spoken to in a standoffish manner by the lady at the reception who told that the spa booking was shortened for 2 out us 4 girls to 25 minutes (it was supposed to be 50). Upon trying to explain the confusion, the email update being sent to junk etc, and that we had checked in on time, the lady at reception simply did not care or try to understand or offer an alternative given that there was a genuine misunderstanding and spoke to us as if we were children. This poor customer service, alongside the sarcasm experienced when ordering lunch, set the tone of our stay and quite frankly ruined the first part of the getaway. In terms of positives, I would like to thank Hannah, the therapist who did my massage (I was one that got the full allocated time) she tailored it exactly to my needs. The restaurant staff, the food and the hotel reception staff were also lovely and the rooms and grounds were beautiful. All in all, a good hotel experience but a poor spa experience which lets down the whole package deal. We would like to know what the Billesley team will do in response to what we experienced as this doesn't appear to be new from reading other recent reviews. We would not want anyone else to experience what we experienced.
