Nice layout and good selection of food on the menu. Ordered 2 mixed grills, when the food was brought out to us we had to ask for steak knives. Looked forward to the meal but it was mediocre at best. The horse shoe gammon was half a horse shoe gammon 4mm ish thick and over cooked, my friends were burnt at one end but hidden under other stuff. The sausage had been deep fried along with the chicken wings that were tasteless, the chicken was rubbery and watery ( the dog enjoyed it), lots of fresh peas and button mushrooms, the black pudding was burnt to a crisp and we did tell the guy that served us but he didn't bother to get back to us . Ultimate chunky chips were just frozen chips and nothing special. The egg on the gammon was old , it was flat and tasteless, onion rings were also part of the meal but none arrived with the meal, and no explanation as to why not. After telling the guy the food was burnt I expected some feedback, but he came up short on his customer service. This pub served great food a few years ago, but definitely has gone down hill , nearly £3.00 for half a diet coke is shocking. The dog had a good feed when we got home . Really disappointed, after the presentation was really good .Food not of a high standard at all , customer service less so .

Lovely modern, well presented pub. The service was faultless, and the atmosphere was great for a family Sunday lunch get-together. This place has Sky TV for sports if you want to watch football or F1, etc, as well. The food was almost perfect bar for a couple of slightly undercooked boiled vegetables, but the Sunday Roast Dinner was awesome, especially the roast potatoes.

We had a Family meal for 14 today and it was just perfect. Staff friendly and accomodating, giving us our own little area so we could relax and chat as a group, food was lovely, really tasty and lots of choice, we all had a great time. Will definately be back.

Much improvement from when it first reopened, the staff and food are much much better. The drinks offer Monday to Thursday was much needed and it’s now become a weekly visit for me as a local. Dogs are extremely well catered for although I don’t have one.

Ordered for my kid of the kid menu which included pudding and when I went to order the pudding the bar staff said it will be an hour's wait for ice cream and didn't apologize or offer any sort of refund. So I paid for a 2 course meal and only received the main. Also I had ordered 2 roast dinners with free top up on Yorkshire puddings, gravy and potatoes which I also got turned away for.Absolute joke.

Popped in on Sunday as the wife wanted a roast dinner. She thoroughly enjoyed her pork dinner and I had the bacon n cheese burger which was excellentA great choice of beers and spirits and nicely decorated throughout.I would highly recommend.
