Mandy at the Kiosk and Simon at self checkouts were really friendly and helpful and efficient even on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Would like to see a bigger no alcohol section

I have used this store for 10+ years. Myself and my wife came to use the selfscan service on Saturday evening around 8:45.We did our shopping as usual, we came to the scanning area and 2 of your staff were chatting away discussing their Saturday night plans.We scanned, paid and refused the receipt due to using an electronic app and wanting to save the environment.We were then followed by said 2 staff members to the door and rudely forced by the chubby blonde older lady to go and get a receipt as she hadnt seen us pay?? I advised we did pay and why is there an option to refuse the receipt if we had to have one? They then made us go back, print a receipt and then didnt even check our shopping or receipt???. I asked the lady what was the point of this as its just messed us around she couldnt answer and called security?? - We were then frogmarched by a security guard out of your store.As a family we spend hundreds of pounds a week in your store. Its Utterly disgraceful behaviour from your Staff/Security representatives.

Definitely won’t be telling my issues to the none pharmacist that like to be around the counting serving people needing help. Told a female member of staff I need something which was a private matter and she went off giggling and smirking while actually getting the pharmacist.Very immature and stupid.

Only shop here if you like the self serve checkouts because the manager is making sure there are no staff on checkouts at certain times of the day and also if you like to guess at what your shopping will cost at the end because half the items in store are priced up wrong. Floor staff could easily manage stores as a team, much better than the actual managers seem to be able to. I used to enjoy shopping at this store but it's a shambles lately.

Slightly better service than Normanton, you have to repeat yourself to staff but this store is located in a place similar to ‘the hills have eyes’ and used to be a set of the walking dead.Every time I walk in the shelves are ruined, lack of availability.The store security are usually on their phones and look like they can’t catch a cold let alone keep a store secure.The store has always had problems which people seem to a accept in these modern times.The best thing about the store was it was 24 hour which it now isn’t because as we all know, Asda is dying.

Gone down hill. Never enough staff on tills and I will not use self checkout. Not my job to scan my items. So many things miss priced too. Come on Asda get some more staff and open real checkouts and ditch the self checkout nonsense. Not like you are paying me to scan myself and your prices are ridiculous.

Took half hour to get out of the carpark, during that time we saw 2 near miss crashes and people going mad beeping horns and shouting and bawling. Wished we had gone to Aldi would have been less dangerous and less stressful.

I shop here as close to where I live.The best thing about the store are the hand held scanners. Makes your shopping quicker. But overall there’s often not a lot on the shelves when I shop, on a Friday or Saturday and prices keep on going up.But I think that’s just life in general.

Ok store, staff levels and therfore stock levels seem very affected by outside influences ie if its a hot day / school holiday / bank holiday etc hardly any staff and a lot of empty shelves!Most frustrating is the scan and go handsets are nearly always empty! I have asked several times for some to be brought to the front, with varying success! Ironically by far the best ie he got some was when I asked the security gaurd!!!Also someone needs to actually try the trollies half of them the wheels are bad and it's awkward and dangerous when full!To be honest thinking of going elsewhere when I have been an Asda shopper all my life (used to work in one - not this one!! When I was a teenager) and I know the high standards they used to strive for but that are not being met here!
