Love it, I rate Chinese take aways based on their prawn toast and theirs is lush. Always quick if you order to collect and always tasty.

I recently moved to the area and I'm glad to have found this superb neighbourhood Chinese takeaway. I've now had several takeaways (all off the Chinese menu) and they have all been excellent. Prices very reasonable. I've always ordered over the phone and the food has always been hot and ready at the agreed pickup time. Service has always been friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

We had a good meal from here tonight. Food was hot and considering there was a road closure that surpassed our expectations. It's a 4 out of 5 as the chips we ordered were undercooked. We will definitely be ordering from here again and hopefully if the chips are better next time it will be 5 out of 5.

The food is really tasty and reasonably priced. unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired. On the last 2 occasions I've ordered (over the phone) to collect, I've been told that it will be approximately 30 minutes. Despite leaving it 40 minutes they initially couldn't find my order so I had to wait another 15 minutes for it to be cooked and even then it has been incorrect with something missing. If they could sort those issues out, it would be a brilliant local Chinese takeaway.

Food was excellent and portions were very generous pricing was very justified for the portion size. Would rate 6 stars if I could or even seven if the fortune cookie had a more favourable fortune.

Not bad food ..friendly I guess..shame they don't lole other places gibe free crackers I'd use more often if they didThe one we often use give free crackers on a£15 spend and also free bottle of cake on a £25 spend

Ordered on the phone polite gent on the end took our order. Food was ready in 10 mins,Very generous portions plenty of meat and very good flavour.Tasted amazing will definitely come again and recommendWe ordered duck rice ( it had loads of duck in it amazing for the price)The pork chop suey was loaded to the brim with porkDuck and vegetables was again full of duck and brilliant tastingCheers James

First time using golden start but will definitely use again. Food was lovely and very good value for money. Staff where so polite and friendly .
