Ice Skating Lessons London

I started learning to skate as an adult and started having lessons with Chrissy soon after, almost 5 years on she is still my coach today. I feel very lucky to have such a supportive and encouraging coach like Chrissy. My lessons are always productive and we have a laugh too. She’s managed to get me from a beginner to passing field moves tests and even landing an axel! (something I never thought I would do as an adult skater!) She is very patient and if I’m struggling with something she will take the time to teach me new techniques and exercises to help. I would highly recommend Chrissy for lessons - she is an amazing coach!

Chrissy is an amazing coach, I have been having lessons with her weekly for about 5 months. Her enthusiasm to teach and patience is immediately noticeable. I don't believe I could have progressed as I have with anyone else. I could not recommend her more.

Chrissy has been my coach since i started ice skating a few years ago and i feel fortunate to have found her and started my ice skating journey with her. She is incredibly skilled, always supportive and pushes her students outside their comfort zone (but just the right amount). Her lessons are always productive and fun- she varies skills and exercises and introduces new elements even if they are from a higher level. Yet she also keeps track of progress and ensures consistency in whatever it is you are working on. Highly recommend her whether you are looking for an intro lesson, returning to ice skating or are a skater looking for a knowledgeable, supportive and kind coach.

I love Lee Valley and specifically my Coaches Chrissy and Vitaliy.I see Chrissy twice a week for coaching and synchro skating with the team. She is a great coach, perfect for me as she is patient (especially with me joking around all the time) but technical and specific enough for me to progress every lesson and enjoy free skating even more. I'm even starting to compete again, she pushes me and I love that.Vitaliy is an amazing ice dance coach, reminds me why I loved ice dance in the first time and I enjoy all of our lessons without exception.They are both very flexible as my schedule is hectic which is perfect.

Chrissy helped push me further than I ever imagined In skating, she took me to competitions as a solo and then introduced me to synchronised skating which I fell in love with and has supported me throughout my skating career. She helped me become good enough to get paid for a few performances and I also have a rare knee condition, which Chrissy has catered to throughout the years I have been skating. Would highly recommend Xx

I have had Chrissy as my coach for 1 year and wouldn’t go any where else ! She is very patience and takes her time to explain techniques through various methods I.e drawing it out for me which I find extremely helpful. I have seen my skating improve massively over the past year due to Chrissy’s encouraging character.

Chrissy has been my coach for over 5 months, with one to one lessons and I wouldn't want anyone else. She's high spirited, kind and is amazingly patient, especially with someone as crumbly as me. I can't recommend her enough. :)

Chrissy has been lead coach for my son now for over 6 years and in that time he has moved from being a complete beginner to a medalist at various national level skating club competitions, both as an individual skater and as a member of a synchronised skating team. Chrissy is also my own personal skating coach so I can speak from personal on/off ice experience that her lessons are really fun and every one of them leads to a new area of improvement and development. Chrissy's range of abilities include coaching both on and off the ice, running through warm ups and stretch routines, accompanying us to competitions and making sure we are prepared and relaxed and ready to compete. She takes the time to develop you in the right way at the right time, challenging you to improve at your own pace and guiding you to reach your goals. Chrissy is brilliant - I’ve been having one-to-one lessons for almost a year now, and feel like I’ve made real progress. I couldn’t skate at all to begin with, but Chrissy is really patient and helps me break it down in a way my body can understand! Very much recommend if you’re looking for lessons.

Since I have been having lessons with Chrissie she has not only improved my skating skills, but also my confidence. I have private lessons with Chrissie and we are currently preparing for level 2 field moves. Chrissie has helped me to break down the skills and to learn them in detail. She is not only friendly and approachable but has excellent communication skills especially when you are finding certain manoeuvres difficult.
