My favourite pub around. Friendly staff, Fair priced beer, nice regulars, open fire and clean toilets with lots of logs. Always warm and friendly.

With so many 5 star ratings, I thought it’d be a nice pub but your food must be a joke.I’d give 0 star if I could. After waiting 50 min for 2 portions of lamb in an empty pub(they said they gave the food to someone else), what you get is a dead yellow uncooked broccoli, stone hard potatoes, a sad old string of parsnip, smelly lamb and sticky cold gravy. Never been so disappointed in food. A total waste of £17 or something.Staff is smiley and friendly which I do appreciate but it doesn’t really make up for the delay or the awful food. There are better places where you can get way better food and service for the less/same price.

We stumbled across this pub on a detour off the M25 during the bridge closure. We all had a drink, used the facilities and were welcomed. Gorgeous traditional open fire place with a fire burning and comfortable surroundings. Good size car park. If we ever fond ourselves in this part of London again, we'll be sure to drop in.

Under new management, can see the improvements and highly recommend. It's cozy, with a good beer garden. Had Sunday roasts two consecutive weeks and the food was amazing - large portions and excellent quality meat. It's dog friendly, even treats for them at the bar :) The customer services from the new family are outstanding and wishes them all the success

I booked the back room for my daughters birthday party 3 months in advance but was called on the morning to be told they had double booked the room. I offered to pay more as I didn’t have any other options so late in the day but the other group never actually turned up which makes me question if it was true to charge more money. We were made to feel pretty unwelcome and constantly reminded we could only have the room for two hours and to clean up after ourselves. We were also told we should have bought our own glasses even though we bought a number of bottles of Prosecco from the pub. At one point other customers and their dogs were walking through the kids party to get to the smoking area.Overall a stressful experience and I wouldn’t recommend, although the new owner Paul did try to be friendly and helpful.

Had a fabulous meal there today - beautiful food, huge portions, and very affordable! The manager and staff were very pleasant and accommodating of both our dog and toddler. Recommended!

A gorgeous quaint little pub with a great function room (fits about 60 people standing and about 35/40 seated). We chose this place for our sons christening and the staff were so so accomodating with absolutely everything. Evelyn the pub manager and her staff were so helpful with everything and went out of thier way to help with the prep and the day. The outside area is huge and the children had a blast exploring and playing outside (they allowed us to have the garden to ourselves making it safe and secure). We did our own food for the adults so can't really comment on thier food there although we did order nuggets and chips for the kids as extra and it was decent. I'll definitely be using this pub again for the next party. Thanks guys.
