Engineer disconnected gas without prior warning. Gas Safe (new name for CORGI) confirmed this is against their code of contact and advised I take further action. Never received return of contact from their office when requesting further info. Got engineers number and 12 months to raise with ombudsman, speak soon!

I had pre-booked a boiler service, which was scheduled for today (27th October 2023). I received a call this morning from their admin team to say they couldn’t attend. Now, I have been a customer of GasPlus since 2002 over three different properties and they have been brilliant, but all the business was through Domestic & General boiler cover policies. I note with interest that there seem to be a fairly equal number of 5 star and one star reviews on Google, which leads me to the conclusion that GasPlus might be prioritising D&G and other insurance company contract customers over independent customers?The call I got from them this morning went something like this - they can’t make the appointment; no excuse provided; no empathy at all; disinterested attitude ; non-proactive in solving the issue; refusal to re-book me; said they would call me when they were free!; refused to say whether it would be by the end of the year! The girl that spoke to me was polite, but spoke in clipped, cold tones and sounded like she didn’t care and was talking to an inferior person. There was a tiny hint of patronising, almost smirking attitude.Conclusion: With an attitude like that, would you want them to go near your gas boiler and supply? My advice would be to use a GasSafe-qualified LOCAL small independent company or single gas engineer. I was astonished by GasPlus. I will never use them again as the trust is gone.

GasPlus helped us with a couple of boiler challenges and also helped us navigate the tricky situation with our insurer who were not helpful! They were brilliant, can’t speak highly enough of them. They also serviced it last week with minimum fuss, promptly and well priced.

BEWARE- shouldn’t be allowed to be trading. They sent an engineer to do a service on my boiler that was working but since he has been everyday I have no hot water. He informed me when he left that everything was good. Just a pipe that had a small crack will need replacing. On calling them they have offered no help or solution and Jasmin just directed me back to my insurer. My point to them is that the boiler was working absolutely fine before their engineer came. Terrible.

After reading others reviews I was worried however I've had 2engineers attend and do work. 1 stayed after 6pm as it was so cold to ensure I had heating that night. 5 stars to this company for Nick and Gregg engineers Kevin Office Manager and Eliesha in the office who handled the insurance updates for me with patience and was so professional when my patience was at its end with Domestic and General who never return calls and are impossible to deal with

Customer service abysmal.If I went into someones house as an engineer or tradesmen and broke something. Its my responsibility or companies responsibility to fix. Not with gas plus. They have their own laws.Laughable now. But on the day had me suffering with my mental health.. having a 3 year old with no heating is hard to take on the chin as a parent. Imagine the feeling of your son telling you his cold and the boiler company refuse to fix their mistake. Contacted my insurers at 11.30 on a Saturday who appointed Gas Plus to carry out emergency repairs to a leaking hot water pipe. Gas Plus contacted within 30 minutes and arranged a visit between 13.00-- and 18.00 hours and that engineer would call 20 min before arriving. True to there word Nick called at 16.20 and arrived 20 min later. You could not wish for a better professional person than Nick who stripped down the offending joint, replaced and sealed necessary areas stopping the leak. Thank you Gas Plus and Nick for saving our day.

We have been using this company for possibily over 10 years. Always impressed by the quality of their staff, who they seem to retain. Always great advice but from our assessment is backed up by honesty. Never had a problem with them and always look forwards to an intelligent update on the latest improvements with energy technology
