I purchased a Bronze package to sort my kitchen cupboards after a WhatsApp consultation with Maria at A Tidy Mind. This meant six hours to organise / declutter in a day. She was very friendly, and I felt we would work well together.I haven’t used a declutter service before so wasn’t sure what to expect. Maria arrived on time and ready to start. She was very practical in her approach and did not judge me and the amount of stuff I had! I might let her show you the photo we took of all my mugs!We took one shelf at a time and Maria grouped things together so that it was easy to make decisions on what I really wanted to keep and what could go. There was no pressure to get rid of anything you really didn’t want to. She then suggested the best way to put things back so everything was accessible and had a place, rather than just piled on top of each other.When we’d finished, Maria took away anything I had for both recycling and donations to charity shops. Very helpful as I always just put bags in the garage for when I have time to take them.Would 100% recommend Maria. It’s one of those jobs that you put off doing and Maria helps you do it so much better than you could do yourself and I found the whole process therapeutic. It’s so nice having an organised kitchen finally! You won’t regret booking.

I had procrastinated for years on tidying various areas of my house, with 3 kids and a job, clutter and 'stuff' of all kinds had just built up over the years and I felt ashamed and overwhelmed. It look me quite a while to build up to contacting Maria as I felt ashamed that I needed it, but when I did she made it so easy.Maria is like a therapist and a friend. She is compassionate, understanding, fun, efficient and respectful. She takes the tidying at your speed, takes things away for you and really supports you to face your stuff. She is like a dynamo, full of positive energy, but she is also very empathetic and doesn't make you do anything you don't want to. Maria takes away the negative feelings that build up with the clutter and listens to you to gauge your needs. The whole experience is really positive.As time went on it became easier and easier to let go of things. One of my blocks was fear of waste/throwing things away that could be recycled. Maria is a mine of knowledge on how to recycle or reuse things and does her best to let nothing go to waste. She makes you feel really positive about the experience. The result is much improved mental health, learning to let go and saying goodbye to the feelings of shame. Plus a tidier house!As we all know, there is always 'stuff' coming into our houses, especially with a family. Having spent some intensive sessions with Maria tackling the backlog I now see her on a monthly basis, rotating around different areas of the house. I intend to continue with this as it makes my life so much more organised and makes me feel much better. Every penny spent on Maria's services is so well worth it, I can highly recommend her. As far as I'm concerned, every working mum (or even perhaps everyone) needs a Maria in their life!

Maria's help changed my life! She helped me declutter and organise my room and wardrobe and created a system that comes naturally to me and makes it easy for me to maintain order and tidy my room. I really really struggled taking control of my wardrobe and never seemed to manage to keep it tidy enough. Where to start with how wonderful Maria is...I was recommended Maria via a family member, as I have always struggled with keeping my wardrobe space organised - I'm a cliché emotional shopper, and end up attached to items of clothing purely because they 'might' be good for some fictional, upcoming event, or because a particular style looked good on me x amount of years ago and might still.As a result, I have essentially hoarded clothes over the last 10+ years that I would find a reason for not to get rid of.Maria came to mine for an initial consultation, and following this we decided on the Bronze package (6 hours over 2 sessions).Maria didn't try to “up sell” me and gave advice according to what l needed, which was not only refreshing but also calmed the anxiety around the situation and made it feel completely manageable.Her calm and efficient energy is nothing short of infectious, and my wardrobe looks brag-worthy. I got rid of so much 'dead weight' and it's like a heaviness has been lifted, genuinely. Maria also donated all my clothes to charity, which is sort of an extra win, because I feel even better about getting it sorted!After the first session, I remember going up to my bedroom in the evening and feeling a huge sense of calm and relief seeing everything in its own place, and my bedroom is now a source of joy as opposed to something I need to sort.I'm so grateful for Maria, honestly, and I highly recommend her. She's genuinely an organisational genius and just the kindest soul too.Sounds cheesy to say, but 6 hours with her has changed my life and my house now feels like a home.Thank you, Maria.

Maria has been helping us to declutter our house over the last several weeks, and we could not have found a better person to work with. On the question of ‘keep’ of ‘throw out’, Maria never makes suggestions, but – when we decide to get rid of something – then it’s a simple question of charity, recycle, or landfill—and Maria will take the items away for distribution. In terms of suggestions how we might rearrange the things that we decide to keep, Maria has had very good ideas—as, for example, moving all our winter coats from the hall to wardrobe upstairs. These things, apart, Maria is full of energy, and has a great sense of humour! It was a lucky day when we found her.
