Lovely stay at Harold's House in Birmingham. Fantastic location and the room is a little basic but you get what you are paying for as it is much cheaper than elsewhere. Great option if you just need somewhere to kip

Having stayed with in one of this companies property recently, the hosts tried to charge me the full deposit for smoking. I am not a smoker, and never have smoked. I am still awaiting a reply in regards to this, and I have decided to take legal action. The company have been unable to provide evidence when challenged, if it was possible to leave 0 stars I would do so. Avoid at all costs, as previous reviews have stated this company likes to charge for all manner of things. They are untrustworthy and provide a poor service all around, they threatened to contact the police which I welcomed as I have not committed any crimes in relation to my stay with the sub par property firm. AGAIN I MUST REITERATE DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON A COMPANY WHO TRIES TO CON.

It would have been helpful to know my room was upstairs. Even though, I was not expecting to end up with an additional bag of things, I might have been able to ask for a room downstairs. But know if you read this, you can ask for special requests when using the Booking app. The internet signal was terrible all around the property. I had no other option to communicate, so this was bad. The bed was not the best, but could sleep on it for two nights. Á bit unnerving that their is no contact with a human being a only through the app. Well, you might prefer it that way.

The most peaceful and quiet place I have been at in a long time.Clean, cozy, comfortable.Very easy access to the town centre where I could find shopping centers and attractions.The neighborhood is very quiet, and a lake is nearby. There are corner shops and restaurants close by in case there's ever a need to buy anything.I'll be sure to book here when I return for my next travel.Highly recommended!

Use them frequently when working around Birmingham. Very good company to deal with. Properties are priced very reasonably and are located in good areas. Definitely recommend.

The hosts were very accommodating and gave easy access information for our stay in Belmont Apartments (Liverpool). The apartment had good facilities and was exceptionally clean and tidy. The apartment was in a good location and a short ride from the city centre - good value for money and would stay again! Thanks!

I have stayed in 3 Ikos properties including Harold House. Rooms have been very clean and comfortable, with TV, Wifi and plenty of tea, coffee and clean towels.I found the beds to be comfortable with fresh white sheets.Shared kitchen and bathrooms were clean with decent hot water even in winter, as was heating in the rooms. Key collection is via a security box accessed by a code number. I suppose its cheaper than employing a receptionist. Staff I have met were helpful and efficient.When I accidentally left without leaving the keys, I was telephoned, and so I went back with the keys, and was not charged for this.Overall Ikos provided a professional service, rooms are of a good standard, above average value for money.Also Reservoir Cafe is a good traditional English cafe and is close to The Limes and Harold House so is very convenient when staying there.

Travelled to Birmingham to stay at THE LIMES property, upon arrival I was very unsettled to discover the light was on and there was a fresh load of laundry hanging in the living room - immediately I was unsure if there was someone else was in the property! It was discovered that the fuses were broken; kitchen and bathroom lights broken and unable to turn off living room light. It became clear that the hosts used the property to do their laundry, even though my party had booked the entire house and expected privacy! They also did not inform us they would be using the facilities and so we initially thought we had been broken into one day as host had left door open!! The cleanliness of the property is also a concern, a half eaten pizza was left in the fridge from previous guests. Additionally, there was a burn mark on one of the bedsheet which the host have accused my party of causing and CHARGED US £55 to replace! When challenged about this fee the host was ridiculously unprofessional and rude! I am convinced this was a plant to scam us for more money!If it were possible to leave zero stars I would!

Emailed to say all deposit is being refunded £200 refund goes into my bank there 7 hours later they take £100 back out my bank no email for any explanation. Everything was left immaculate. Was staying in Liverpool for the next two months and planned on using these for the full stay but won’t be now

Terrible investment management company. I would not use their services. Their attention to detail is low, they feign compliance with the law, and act under color of law.They do not staff receptionists at their locations and are difficult to contact. I would consider a higher rated alternative property manager.
